Attentiveness of the teachers, accommodating nature of the admin staff, how loving they are with my child
I love the friendly atmosphere and the plethora of activities.
I was so happy when I received the email from the NBTS replacement that my son school was Lightbridge Academy because I new something good was coming on my way.Now my son can talk good, he’s very sociable and now can do things by himself.So one day I ask him why he likes his school and he said Ms Carol and Ms Maria help me to stop pee pee in my pull up was so happy to hear that cos now he knows what’s good and bad. Always pray for Ms Carol and Ms Maria for the good things they are doing for my son.God bless the entire team over there,you are really doing a great job.Bravo to you all.

As a first time parent sending their child to school I was a little disappointed in the constant shift of teachers in the first few months of school. My child has a hard time adjusting to change and I feel like this set him back because as soon as he was used to a teacher they left.
The team is wonderful with great communication. I can see in my daughter how the activities and learning really help her development. It’s always clean and well kept throughout the building.

Lightbridge is well-organized with a thoughtful and well-rounded curriculum. I appreciate that they have fun activities that are age-appropriate.
I’d like to take a moment to recognize our teacher, Ms. Taylor, and all the great work she’s doing. Our kids absolutely adore her and are learning so much from her. She genuinely seems to love her children and her commitment to them is evident. Thank you for all you do, Ms. Taylor!
Also, we appreciate Ms. Margie, Liz, Gigi, and Dina from their previous classes. Everyone on the admin team is so kind as well, especially Caitlin who always responds to my emails in a thoughtful and timely manner.
The whole program is great. We are thrilled with the education our daughter is getting, especially with Miss Jessica who goes above and beyond. She really provides an exceptional environment for learning and growth in such a fun way.

Structure, curriculum, great teachers
The compassionate and engaged teachers... specifically Ms. Alanni, ms. Hannah, Ms pam, Ms Mary, ms qiona, Ms jania, Ms Kiana, Ms yami, Ms alondra, Ms geisha. They really seem to love my girls! The extra stuff really doesn't matter to me...ie marco polo...I believe that children need to play and connect positively with other kiddos and kind caregivers at this young formative age.
We love Miss Taylor and the individualized attention she’s able to give each kid in the smaller class size. She’s always so warm and welcoming each morning and we can tell our child is learning so much from her.
Be more attentive to the needs of the students. Don't blame a 4 year old for behavior issues when it's an environmental situation. Identity when you may be doing something wrong and not assume your response is the correct one. You have to understand the children.
The staff is friendly the teachers are great. Ms. Angelica is amazing and has really made a huge impact in my daughter. My daughter loves coming to school everyday now and is learning and growing so much! Thank you for all you do for my daughter everyday Angelica!
The ability for the program to grow with our child and the consistency of the programming.
We are appreciative of the care our children receive. It is always welcomed to improve trainings for staff on overall child development, behaviors, positive supports, social/emotional learning. We value the proactive approach of the administrative team, and the prompt addressing of any concerns.
Lightbridge in Shrewsbury has been a great experience for our family. We drive further just to come to this location. The office staff, teachers and management are professional and caring.
In Orange Giraffes Miss Erin and Miss Dina are always so sweet and kind to my child. They truly care for the kids like they were their own children.
In Green Frogs Miss Hope and Miss Yami have had such a positive influence on my Son. He is thriving and learning so much. Both teachers are kind and patient with the kids.
All program is amazing!
In the new class, I’m observing low energy and limited active engagement from staff, with more supervising from a seated position than initiating or joining play. My daughter is a bit less enthusiastic about school, and there appear to be fewer structured, teacher-led, energetic activities. The lunch menu have not improved, which is an important part of the day, this is why I've changed to just pizza Fridays starting in December. Also, I would like to highlight that at her age, she still needs support after using the restroom—we need to ensure staff consistently prompt and check hygiene.
The teachers at Lightbridge Academy are truly amazing. Every day, they create a safe and joyful environment where she feels valued and excited to learn. Their patience, kindness, and genuine love for the children shine through in everything they do—whether they’re guiding activities, offering comfort, or celebrating each child’s growth. Knowing that my daughter is surrounded by such dedicated and caring educators gives me so much peace of mind, and I’m deeply grateful for the positive impact they make in her life.
They take great care of our 4 month old, and the updates are nice to have. They provide excellent end of day reports and feedback.
I like that I can see my son throughout the day, his teachers, Ms. Anjum, Ms. Rita & Ms. Kim are all fantastic. I love the update throughout the day about activities done and the pictures are awesome.
Cost is higher than other franchises in the area and does not included anything additional such as diapers/meals. The curriculum does not appear to be much different/better to justify the cost. The “mobile infant” description does not fit the classroom since most (if not all) are toddlers. It feels like a scam to justify the price remaining the same when transitioning to the class.
There is very little communication regarding the daily activity. When comparing the live stream to the pictures posted in the portal, most are within the same period of time. I need to depend on watching the livestream to get accurate updates on my son’s day, which is not ideal for a working parent. (Note - this is only my experience in the mobile infant classroom, the infant class was excellent with communication among many other things.) However, my son is hitting every milestone, and appears to be having fun throughout the day. He is happy at drop off and sometimes does not what to go home during pick-up, and he seems to be building relationships with the other children.
There is zero communication from the Administrators when there are staffing changes in the classroom. For example, when I watch on live stream, there are staff members whom I have never seen before caring for my child. I was made aware when a new lead started, but I did not know when another teacher left and a new started. Recently the director resigned, but left prior to her notice date. This was not shared with the parents, which makes it appear as if management is hiding some serious internal problems.
Accident/incident report - we are typically not made aware when our child is hurt until we pick him up and there is a report to sign (which is about 3-4 times a week). When he was in the infant classroom, they would send a message through the portal which was much appreciated. Also - there was a time when my son came home with a bite mark, which was not reported. I sent an email with a picture and it was never addressed.
Yello ducks Too much TV time. Three times a day. I don't know how long each tv session is. But still too much for a 3-4 uear old.
The comfort they gave us knowing our daughter would be safe and cared for. We love how the teachers communicate with us.
Clean, organized, welcoming, great activities for all age groups.
I really like how much the kids learn here, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. All of the teachers are approachable, patient, and truly care about the children. The office staff is also wonderful and always helpful. The environment feels welcoming, safe, and supportive, and I can see how much my kids enjoy coming every day. Thank you for providing such a great program!
Best of both worlds; loving and family oriented feeling like a small intimate childcare center, but all the perks of a franchise. Loving teachers with positive attitudes, the curriculum, cleanliness.
