Everything! Fantastic teachers and both Lauren’s are so amazing and always so helpful!! Highly recommend this place for any child as mine have learned and grown so much here! Best part is they have so much fun while learning here too!!
Love the activities my sons are doing and all the learning that comes with it.
The intentional curriculum designed for infants, coverage offered for them and the ‘Parents Night Out’ is always handy.
What I like about this program is that they help my child grow and succeed & accomplished everything that I would double think about my baby not knowing! They helped him grow and learn so much everyday ! He loves school ! & he never wants to leave everytime for pickup 😅!
The staff, how clean it is
As a parent, nothing is more important than knowing your child is safe, happy, and well cared for and this school truly delivers on that peace of mind.
One of the things I appreciate most is the camera access. Being able to check in during the day provides an incredible sense of comfort and transparency. It’s reassuring to see my daughter engaged, learning, and interacting with her teachers and classmates. That level of openness builds a lot of trust.
Beyond safety, the environment is nurturing and supportive. The staff is attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. My daughter comes home excited to share what she’s learned, which speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere at the school.
Knowing that she is in a secure environment where her well-being is clearly a priority allows me to focus on my day with confidence. I’m truly grateful for the communication, professionalism, and care this school provides.
Highly recommend to any parent looking for both quality education and real peace of mind.
I like the communication, its very easy to use the app. I do wish for more daily/weekly pics, maybe even a group pic(for those permitted), but I do understand and appreciate that my little one is taken care of very well.
I love how friendly all the teachers are and how much you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. The activities are always great, and the communication (plus all the fun parties!) makes everything feel so thoughtful and well organized.
The teachers are incredible. Great communication and care for our little one. Everyone is so kind.
Our son’s teacher is pretty underwhelming. No real smiling or kindness during drop offs. When he is struggling to let go of us, sometimes she just stares and doesn’t help. There are also clear biases between how she speaks to our son and other students in the class. The teacher assistant on the other hand is phenomenal and we like her. The main teacher leaves a lot to be desired from a teacher.
The teachers are so wonderful with my daughter! She started in November, having already been talking a lot. But now, just a few months later, she can sing multiple songs, knows how to count, and even listens better to directions.
I like that when you drop off/pick up, everyone greets you and knows your child’s name. The crafts that you get to cherish forever are sent home frequently, and you get great updates and photos throughout the day on the app.
Good staff , clean
Positive comments: In general, great teachers, great curriculum. Teachers from other classes know the students and make the transition easier.
Negative: the quality of the classrooms varies; the experience with yellow ducks wasn't great; the teacher leader there doesn't demonstrate strong skills for the job or any empathy for the kids. I would reduce the screen time. I believe it is an overuse of this resource. I don't believe parents pay that much in school for kids to watch Blippi. The quality of the food was not good enough; you could demand more from partners.
Suggestion: I would suggest more engaging activities in the winter, such as "Show and Tell". From the videos, it looks like the kids enjoyed a lot when they were in Blue Horses.
I am very happy with the care my child receives. His teachers Miss Margie, Miss Liz and Miss Gigi are all so kind and caring. I trust them completely with my son. Every day he comes home with something new and exciting to show or tell us. At the end of the day, he does not want to leave. They make learning fun for him. He thoroughly enjoys his class!
My daughter has been attending Lightbridge since she was 7 months old. Every class she has switched to has been a smooth transition and all of her teachers have shown a true interest in her & her growth. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter in their care and the communication with the teachers & office staff has always been up to par. My daughter constantly talks about her teachers at home and I can tell how much she enjoys going to school!
Everything is very well executed by LightBridge academy. I wish things were better when it comes to logging updates into the app with photos and daily updates.
My child started in the pre K class this year. What I love about Lightbridge is that they have very flexible pick up and drop off times. They hold several holiday related events throughout the school year in which parents can participate with their children. I love how they upload pictures and videos of the what the children did during the school day to keep parents engaged in what the children did during the day. One thing I think the pre-k class is overdoing in my opinion is how often and how much the smart board is utilized. Children watches shows like curious george or watch YouTube videos of sing along and dancing and yoga, I think those activities can be lead by teachers themselves. They also do watch educational type of videos. But all together I think it’s too much screen time for children this age. Also during kids birthday parties the YouTube video of birthday song is so loud that children don’t even sing the song themselves. Instead they just watch the birthday video. Or during lunch time, the board is used to show a timer counting down during lunch time with some animation, and some children ends up watching the screen while they eat. As opposed to talk to their peers and focus on eating. The only thing I would change is probably get rid of the smart board in the pre K class and replace it with a white board.
The staff is wonderful and keep me up to date daily with my son’s activities and well being
Teachers are like family and love the kids like their own! Always trying to get other families to come to lightbridge
Lightbridge of Matawan has been an amazing experience for my daughter. At first, I wasn't happy about the place when my daughter started, but once Ms. Kayla took over as the director, you can easily see the major positive changes with the facility's culture and staff expectations. I stopped seeing teachers on the floor playing on their phones all day. I started to see more teaching and learning. The students are fully engaged and my daughter comes home every single day learning something new. Ms. Kayla strives to hire people who genuinely care about the students' well being, and it shows. The teachers are very welcoming, patient, and kind. They care about the students even after the students move into another classroom. They are very easy to talk to and they strive to make every child feel heard and special. My daughter absolutely LOVES her teachers and friends she's made there. Nothing makes a parent feel more safe and secure than to see her child running so fast into class because she cannot wait to learn new things and be with her classmates. I highly recommend LB of Matawan, and I truly hope Ms. Kayla can stay there for many years to come. I love her rigorous expectations and student-centered approach. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE AMAZING STAFF THERE, ESPECIALLY MS. BAILEY, MS. LEXIE, MS. JORDYN, MS. NAYMA, MS. CHRISTA, MS. TAMMY, MS. JO, AND MS. KIM. Thank you!!!
The dedication the teachers and assistants have for the kids. How involved they are with the childs learning and overall behavior. The amount of extra activities the kids have is amazing as well for instance firefighters stopping by and teaching them. Also the themes and how much they learn about these themes
The staff is amazing! They really care for your children!
The kindness creativity and care that goes into everything
They have the best quality staff for childcare in the Lehigh Valley! They are children people that are very patient, loving & caring. They provide endless activities and education to our children. The facility is clean, well maintained and SECURE.
My daughter loves going to Lightbridge of Matawan. The curriculum is amazing, it’s clean and the teachers look like they actually love what they do!!
As a first-time parent, sending my child to daycare for the first time was a big step. The Young Infants teachers have truly made the experience so much easier than I ever imagined. From day one, they made me feel completely at ease and confident that my son is loved, cared for, and safe. He lights up with the biggest smile every single morning when I drop him off, which says everything. We are so grateful for the love and care they give him each day.
We appreciate the clean and tidy classrooms. We are grateful for the kind and supportive teachers who care for our child! The teachers in purple cats have been wonderful! They greet us with kindness and tell us about our child’s day every day at pickup. Our child is happy to go to school and has been learning new things. This has been a positive transition to a new learning environment and we are so thankful!
As much as we hated saying “see you later” to Miss Dana and Miss Pam, we are beyond grateful for every single teacher in Purple Cats. The love, patience, and dedication that fills this classroom is something truly special. Miss Alexis is such a bright, calming light, and Alec absolutely adores her. Watching how excited and comfortable he is each day speaks volumes about the care he receives.
Since moving to Purple Cats, Alec has made incredible progress — more than we ever imagined possible. He has grown so much that we were even able to say goodbye to one of his Early Intervention therapists, a milestone that brought happy tears, proud tears, and a lot of emotion to our family. That progress didn’t happen by accident — it happened because he is surrounded by teachers who truly love and believe in him.
I’m not sure there are enough words to fully express our gratitude, but I’m hoping this spotlight says it all. Every time Alec has “moved up,” our hearts break just a little — not because we aren’t proud, but because the connections we’ve made with his teachers are so incredibly meaningful. These are the people who celebrate his wins, comfort him on hard days, and love him like their own.
Leaving your child each day and trusting them in someone else’s care is one of the hardest things a parent can do. Yet from day one, everyone at Lightbridge has made that trust feel natural, safe, and full of love. Knowing Alec is cared for, supported, and genuinely cherished means more to us than words can ever express.
Thank you, from the very bottom of our hearts, for loving Alec, guiding him, and helping him grow into the amazing little boy he is becoming. The impact you’ve had on our family will stay with us forever. 💜

Love the group care aspect of the Young Infant room, it has helped our little one develop so many valuable social skills and makes us as parents feel so much more comfortable about his impending move to the next room! Miss Briana is an incredible human being and she treats our baby like one of her own. All of the teachers in the class follow in her example, and I trust our baby in any one of their care.
