We are so thrilled with the programming for our child, who is two and has been at Lightbridge since he was 12 weeks old. It's clear that a lot of thought and prep has gone into his day-to-day there, and it's amazing to see how much he learns in school and brings home. His vocabulary, social skills, comprehension... it's incredible! We're so grateful to have a large "village" like Lightbridge with us as he grows during this very important years!
The facilities are top notch, the extra programs offered during the day are great for working parents (dance, gymnastics) who may not be able to do outside programa, and the teachers are attentive and caring.
I am very happy with the staff at the center. The building is clean and welcoming.
There are age appropriate activities and lessons planned for the kids that help them learn things without feeling like they are "in school". Independence is integrated in everyday tasks but with a discipline that would also really benefit parents when the kids are at home. The social aspect of being at the Academy is amazing. I love all the extracurricular activities that are also offered.
From day one, I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of the infant teachers. The communication through the app, photos, and phone calls is top tier. The updates on all daily living activities helps us track how our baby is doing and how we can proceed in the evenings for meals and bedtime. They have been flexible with transitions and mostly put the children’s needs first.
We really appreciate the warm, nurturing environment at Lightbridge Academy. The teachers and staff are genuinely caring and attentive, and they take the time to understand each child’s personality and needs. Communication with parents is excellent. we always feel informed and reassured about our child’s day, progress, and well-being.
My kid loves going to her day care and she is learning new things every day ! Her teachers are amazing which is the best part !
Friendly competent staff, no time restrictions on drop off in the morning, special days that match with the curriculum, and that my kids love going there.
We’ve been with this daycare for almost five years now, across two of our kids, and I can honestly say it’s in the best place it’s ever been. The current staff has brought such a great sense of consistency, and you can really feel the level of care and attention they give to each child. It makes a huge difference as a parent knowing your kids are in a safe, nurturing, and well-run environment every day. We’ve had a really positive experience and are so appreciative of the team there!

A little bit more communication
The attention to detail at Lightbridge Glenside is unmatched. The staff cares deeply about each child and works to personalize each experience. We’ve been so thankful for the growth our son has seen and the community we’ve made!
I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Lightbridge. From the very beginning, we have felt nothing but welcomed, supported, and confident that our children are in the absolute best hands.
The directors, Ms. Kayla and Ms. Maddy, go above and beyond every single day. Their dedication, organization, and genuine care for every child and family truly set the tone for the entire center. You can tell how much they love what they do, and it shows in every detail.
My child’s current teachers, Ms. Ali and Ms. Claire, are nothing short of incredible. They are patient, nurturing, attentive, and always keep me updated on how my child is doing. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he is not only safe, but also learning, growing, and happy every day. They truly treat the kids like their own.
My other son has also had such a wonderful experience with his teacher, Ms. Christa, along with Nayma. They create such a warm and engaging environment, and it’s clear how much effort they put into helping each child thrive.
I also want to give a special thank you to his before and after care teachers, Ms. Tammy and Ms. Kim. They have been such an important part of our daily routine, always greeting him with kindness and making sure he feels comfortable and cared for at the start and end of each day.
I also want to recognize some of the amazing past teachers who have made such a lasting impact on our family—Ms. Lexie, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Shareefa. Each of them played such an important role in my child’s early development, and I am so grateful for the love and care they showed him.
It’s rare to find a place where every single staff member is so consistently kind, professional, and passionate, but Lightbridge truly is that place. We feel so lucky to be part of this community, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their children.
My daughter attends Lightbridge academy and I have nothing but good things to say about the daycare. The admin staff has always been very helpful and welcoming. The teachers are dedicated and hard working. My daughter always has a fun time there. I definitely recommend Lightbridge Academy!
We recommended lightbridge to 3 families when we started there nearly 2 years ago. However, as of late we have found that the lack of communication- specifically when it comes to changes in staff- is unsettling and disappointing. It usually takes me having to raise a concern before a note or message is sent out. It would be nice for staff to be a bit more proactive when it came to making parents aware of impending classroom staff changes.

We are so grateful for our years at Lightbridge. Both of our daughters attended from their baby days all the way through pre-K. The staff is genuinely loving and attentive in a way that stays with you. One small moment that says it all: years after our older daughter had moved on, she would still come to pick up her sister — and every single time, the staff knew her by name, stopped to say hello, and asked how she was doing. That kind of genuine, lasting care doesn't go unnoticed. Beyond our girls, some of the friendships we've made with other parents through Lightbridge have become truly meaningful ones. If you're looking for a place where your child will be known, loved, and genuinely cared for from their very first days — this is it. We will always cherish our Lightbridge family.
We love our son's teachers! They are so loving and caring towards him. He talks about them often at home and is very comfortable with each of them.

The staff at Lightbridge Academy in Hampton were incredibly welcoming, kind and patient with our family. The curriculum was challenging and well rounded and we cannot say enough nice things about the staff who serve our children and our community so faithfully. Our time there felt entirely too short. Thank you all for everything that you do for us!
What do you like about Lightbridge Academy program?
Lightbridge Academy has a pretty strong reputation in early childhood education, and there are several things people tend to like about their program:
1. Focus on the “whole child”
They don’t just emphasize academics—they balance learning with social, emotional, and physical development. That means kids build confidence, communication skills, and independence alongside early literacy and math.
2. Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum
Their in-house curriculum is designed to be structured but flexible. It blends guided learning with play, which is important at younger ages so kids stay engaged rather than pressured.
3. Technology for parents (ParentView)
A standout feature is their live-stream camera access. Parents can check in during the day, which gives peace of mind and transparency that not all provide.
5. Flexible care options
Many locations offer extended hours, backup care, and flexible scheduling, which is helpful for us.
6. Consistent communication
Daily reports, photos, and updates keep us informed about meals, naps, and activities.
While the staff is lovely there is a significant turnover of teachers and very little communication around changes. It’s disconcerting and frustrating.
Education is great, my child seems to be thriving. The directors are very involved and care about each family.
I want to again express how much my son adores his current teachers. He does not want to leave at pick up and cries to go back to Khaki’s when we are in the car. Miss Liz, Miss Gigi and Miss Margie always take the time to update me on his progress which is important as a working mom. I wish I didn’t have to work, but their classroom is second best! All three of them are wonderful!
Joey is very attached to his teachers, I can tell how much they are about him! This is so important to me.
I am also very impressed with the curriculum, he is already wise beyond his years!
