We are very happy at Lightbridge. We love the teachers and care they give to our kids. While I wish the teacher rotation was less frequent, I understand this is a challenge across most daycares. When my daughter didn’t have a consistent teacher and was being shuffled around different classrooms, they took my concerns seriously and prioritized her to always go to OGs where she was happier and had friends. We also love the activities they do and outdoor play area!
There are so many things about Lightbridge Academy that we love. First off the teachers are amazing! Ms.Manju and Ms.Andisha are absolutely wonderful. The kindness and care that they put into teaching is exactly what every parent would want for their child's first school experience to be. They are so amazing and have really prepared my son for kindergarten. They also are on top of making sure as a parent I know what's going on in the classroom and where my son needs extra help. The communication is really great and I feel like I am always kept in the loop. I can not speak highly enough about them both. Then there is the front office. It is such a joy coming in every morning and being created by such wonderful women. Again the time and energy they put in to creating a positive preschool environment does not go unnoticed.i always feel heard if there is ever a concern a or a question and there is always a follow up to make sure that everything has been answered or taken care of. This school has been one of the best preschool experiences we have ever had and I am forever grateful to this wonderful staff for everything they have done for my son and his education.
I appreciate the ease of communication between staff and family. I like the programming for the kids. I appreciate the photos and access to video. I also like that there is not a staggered time for entry/exit that allows for flexibility in drop off/pick up.
The Pre-K program is both educational and fun! Lead teacher and TA for the pre-K classroom are wonderful! Classroom is organized very well and kept clean.
The teachers are caring, well-trained, professional and hard-working!
Ms. Dominique is wonderful, and the facility is clean. We love the curriculum and all the fun activities they do together.
The teachers and staff are so caring, kind, and attentive. We appreciate the great communication and the safe and nurturing environment they provide.
After multiple conversations and no improvements were made I doubt anything can be done. The year is over and we will be leaving for another school. My daughter watched TV and did no projects the entire year. Teachers constantly changing no direction no instruction. A complete disappointment
Great staff, clean place and kids are happy
Each teacher has taken the time to genuinely get to know my daughter. She speaks of her teachers like they are members of the family, making her receptive to learning from them. Each member of the team has been positive, open, and calm.
They love my baby. Anytime I check on her, I feel she is safe and protected. Everyone knows her and she is always happy and taken care of when I pick her up. She has been exposed to so many learning tools and she surprises me every day.

Would love to see a decrease in turnover of teachers. Eliana’s class specifically has had numerous teachers since the start of the year which is difficult for kids, as they form relationships and bond with those teachers. I’ve also noticed a lack of structure in the classroom with these shifts and not the same environment as when the year started with Mr Josh and Ms Melinda. I do spend time watching on the app and notice that the kids are spending much more time doing their own thing, either on the carpet or just running around instead of sitting down and learning as they did at the start of the year.
My daughter feels so loved and welcomed by the amazing staff at Lightbridge! We love the whole team there!
Curriculum, friendly staff, flexibility
Everything! My son has never been more happy to go to school and hang out with his friends/classmates. The teachers love him and he loves them right back. Thank you for putting this mama at ease.
What I like most about Lightbridge Academy is the strong sense of community and care. The program creates a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. The teachers and leadership team genuinely build relationships with families and make communication a priority, which helps create trust and consistency.
I also appreciate the balance between education and nurturing. The curriculum is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and encourages learning through hands-on experiences, creativity, and play. There is a clear focus on social-emotional growth in addition to academics, which helps children build confidence and independence.
Another standout is the professionalism and dedication of the staff. You can tell the team works hard to maintain high standards, keep families informed, and create meaningful experiences for the children year-round.
The teachers are so loving and my daughter is always happy to go to school. She's learning and growing so much, changing every day and we know it's because of Lightbridge.
The staff at Lightbridge are amazing. They care about your kiddos and they go above and beyond. Both of my boys are at Lightbridge and I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else!
They communicate well and really care about the kids who learn a lot
The teachers and staff are awesome. Facilities are super clean and secure. Lily seems to love being there and is doing great. I never setup camera access for my self, the photos that are shared on the app through out the day are awesome. I have shown them to some of my coworkers who have kids. They all commented on how great having that ability is and they wish when their kids were little they had it.
All in all I am super happy with everything.
The school is incredibly clean, they offer so much for the kids (including outside programs) and do so many fun days for the whole family. The teachers are all very friendly and communicative.

I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better daycare for my baby. Every morning we’re greeted with smiles, and I leave with a smile on my face too. You can truly feel the love and care the teachers and staff have for the children. As a parent, that kind of comfort and peace of mind means everything. We’re so thankful to be part of such a loving environment.
Lightbridge Academy of Shrewsbury has a great day planned, everyday. They are well structured with plenty of downtime for the kids. It also seems well connected, internally, where the classrooms can communicate with each other when needed. The teachers have been so great for my daughter, and includes them in her friends list when asked. It is really cute.
They use face recognition for entry, and I love that I, as a parent, feel welcome in the building. The admins are available to ask questions both in the building and through the app. We’ve had nothing but a positive experience there.
If I had to give any criticism, it would be that the app is sometimes wonky, but they update it often enough for it not to be a problem. There is always the ability to watch your kids through their safety cameras, which we don’t use.

We love all the teachers at Lightbridge. My kids have been with the school for 3 years and every teacher cares for the kids. I sincerely appreciate everything they do for me and the family.
I love how the teacher's take their time to create engaging activities for the children. My daughter has been going to Lightbridge Academy since she was about 5 months old. She is now in a toddler classroom and is saying words I never thought she would be able to say. Her teachers incorporate music through out their day and I have noticed the children all engage in their centers.
