Personal service. Small intimate gym so staff know clientele. Nice pool and sauna. Enjoy the classes I do i.e. the aqua aerobics and Primetime weights class.
I like the early opening hours and the staff are very friendly
Location. Only 3 corners away. Swimming pool. Not too crowded.
Great, clean and spacious dressing rooms and good facilities. Would you consider getting some ab wheels? :-)
Friendly, clean, convenient parking

friendly staff except maybe one male who I find very disingenuous.
food supplements range is welcome addition. would like to see brands such as Pulsin or Sun Warrior. Most supplements contain a minimum of 25-35% sugar undoing all the hard work in the gym and over working the pancreas.
New machines a welcome addition. New dumbbells welcome as have reached the 40KG.
Additional yoga mats are also welcome but a bit on the hard side. The navy mats are much better.
Have seen improvements with the ceiling tiles in the men's showers. The plastic bags are always replenished from the dispenser - this is another small but very welcome improvement.
I find Lucas and Alex to be very polite and genuinely friendly and helpful. They stand out as exceptional employees imo and fit in well with the high quality of staff in the gym.
The weights area is still over crowded while treadmills and elipticals are abundant and not in use.
The free weights area is slightly dangerous around the bench press and new squat machine. There needs to be more space between both these machines as the heavies weights are loaded on the barbell yet the bars on both mahcines are practically touching. One has to bend over and twist to pickup the weights on the squat rack. Its only a matter of time before somebody injures their back. I see this as a serious oversight.
The rowing machines foot straps always come loose. Would be great to have velcro or a lock in mechanism.
The music in the gym is often closer to chill out than motivational work out. Can often be too low. The gym is for working out not chilling out but I understand this may be subjective to personal taste.
I think there should be a discount for members that don't use the pool. THe membership is comparitively expensive if one just uses the mats and free weights.
One thing i noticed is that instructors dont interupt gym goers when they are doing exercises with awful technique. As they are qualified they will be aware that the individual may injure themselves and will not make much progress. I wouldnt be so rude as to interfere but I think the trained staff have a responsibility too educate in a nice way. Technique is very important for development and prevention of injury!
There are always the unqualified ready to offer their know how only to show up the next week with a long term injury.
Its great to see the continued improvements in the gym. Well done and keep up the good work.
kind regards,
