I really liked the TRXs. I understand why the class disappeared when that room transformed into reformers, but what about affixing one or two TRX hooks in the upstairs stretching room, like the two affixed to the outside wall for Bootcamp? That would open up possibilities for individual use.
I am completely satisfied with the support I receive each and every visit to Iconic Healrh club
I really enjoyed it, when the coffee machine was working. It would be great to have it back
No complaints! No suggestions!
I joined Iconic Health Dartry in March of this year. As a sixty something year old woman who hates exercise and gyms, it’s been a life changing experience in an entirely positive way. It’s a welcoming space with an excellent range of classes and skilled and knowledgeable instructors. The atmosphere in the gym is very positive and the other members are so friendly.
I can’t believe I’m actually saying that I enjoy going to the gym but I do! Special shout out to Zayd for his endless patience and always having a smile on his face.
Fantastic gym with great instructors. I really feel that they have a interests as a number one priority.@
Reply to my emails!!!
I really enjoy my membership. However, your pricing structure for adding reformer Pilates seems very high and is penalising to anyone on a “couples” membership.
Could you consider a package of reformer classes instead?
Aqua classes at weekends and returning Tuesday evening Aqua class to 45 minutes
Give me free reformer lol
Keep on doing what your doing!
Everything is good overall, just a few minor things:
- Clean floor in class studio a bit more frequently
- Not sure how it can be resolved, but the headsets are always smelly
- Reformer classes are a great addition, but it increases the overall price to a level I'm currently not willing to pay. Maybe offer a 'class only' package option?
Fix hairdryer in ladies dressing room, it only runs cold and another one is broken.
To be honest I can’t think of anything more that can be done to support me.
Great staff. Spotless facilities.
Great gym and fab classes with well maintained and clean pool. Very happy with this gym, lovely friendly atmosphere from clients and teachers. Highly recommended.
Encourage members to revise their exercise programs.
Super facility , could not be bettered.
Unfortunately I will not be attending the club anymore because I am moving I am really sorry 😞
I love the club. Have recommended it to so many people. Bathrooms need to be upgraded.
Sauna could be upgraded and ideally space for a steam room
Continue as at present because it's great! Super staff & super gym, ie something for everyone regardless of age.
Hi, Overall I am very happy with the club....somethings to mention that I have noticed that may be of interest:
1) TV's - I recall in the past there may be some that show the same station.
2) The old treadmills had a fan, the new ones don't and it can get quite hot on them even though there is air-con overhead;
3) One shower (first on the right) has maintenance issues from time to time.
4) I find the speakers can make it harder to hear what's on my own personal ear buds
5) Lockers - some seem to have stuff left in them regularly, maybe even overnight, so at busy times you have to look around for a free one.
Very well timed and well thought out classes
Possible ideas for classes :
- Themed spin classes , (2000s or 80s or disco or girl pop ) in this way might create diversity to the class , eg every Tuesday at 6 there is a. Themed spin class and the theme is released on insta or on the app ? And there could be a suggestion box to see popular themes
- for the reformer Pilates , introduce leveled classes , intermediate, beginner , and advanced ?
Every one very helpful and informative about new classes available.
Looking forward to new coffee machine arriving
I find the wide variety of classes, the availability of a swimming pool and the friendly atmosphere very good.
Very busy club – sometimes a bit hectic – some of the facilities need updating (purely due to heavy usage I suppose).
Would be great if some evening yoga classes were a little later on Mon/ Tues/ Wed evenings for people working 9-5pm on those days. Changing rooms/ showers/ toilets could be significantly improved. Two day rule for booking classes for my particular membership (EY) is also somewhat inconvenient, especially at certain times of the year e.g. January when new members are trying out classes.
Otherwise, Dartry is an outstanding gym with hand-picked staff & instructors and a uniquely inclusive vibe/ community.
Better and safer hand rails in the pool.
The sign in technology at reception is unreliable and too often doesn't register attendance which has caused me to be locked out - not through my own fault. This should be fixed!
The gym is expensive for the level of service offered when compared to other gyms around the city. David Lloyd costs about the same and has tennis courts, a cafe etc etc. It is also over subscribed at key times - the gym in the evenings and at weekends.
The additional cost to avail of performer pilates classes isn't sustainable (for me anyhow). I see the timetable being orientated to them to drive revenue too, which isn't great for members not paying the extra / not interested in these classes. For example last Saturday when classes were restricted due to the Santa visit the only two yoga/pilates classes offered were performer pilates....a pay as you go class option would be good, vs a flat additional monthly fee.
Overall though I love the gym and especially the front deck team and yoga teachers.

A new coffee machine....😃
Thanks
