My yearly service was performed by Harry C of Troy, NY. He was very courteous, professional and thorough. He completed the testing and needed service for the softener and then asked if I had any problems with the iron in the water. I knew that the water was very hard due to the iron and have been dealing with the rings and discoloration of items such as the white toilet, the white bathroom sink, the stainless steel kitchen sink and having to use an additive to the washer to keep the clothes being washed from becoming a dirty yellow color. I told Harry that yes, I did have problems, that I knew it was from the hard water and was disappointed that everyone told me the softener was working just fine and yet I was still having the above issues. Harry then informed me that there is a treatment he could for the softener that would help as the softener could not keep up with the hardness from the iron. I told him to please use it. He did and the difference is well worth the extra treatment!
Harry was the first service person from Culligan in all the years that I have been using Culligan who actually listened to me and asked the question for his suspicion about the above issue. Please do whatever you need to to keep him on board!!! He deserves anything and everything.!
