All equipment clean and new. Staff friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately I was told the class I attended was the last due to low attendance. There was a really nice lady who showed me around as I hadn't been to medlock for a few years & although everywhere looked clean I was surprised to see only 2 keys in all the lockers. I was told this was because they were all being used but judging by the number of people in the gym & the low turnout for the class I attended, I doubt this is true which means if you want to shower you may have to lug all your belongings around with you & I'm sure this would be a health & safety issue, especially in the gym !!!!

I have only recently become a member and only booked a few classes so far, but really enjoyed what I have done. Staff very polite & friendly and answered everything I needed to know.

I like everything pool is excellent lots of choices of classes gym is well equipped. All staff are friendly helpful & professional. The central it’s self is modern & clean.

I can tie in my the hobbies and interests of my children with my own, the ability to use the gym whilst gymnastics sessions are underway is a huge enabler for a parent.

The equipment adequate for all round exercises and the face lift definitely makes it a nicer place to be - a gym certainly isn't my favourite place to be, despite visiting them 3 or 4 times a week - they definitely need to be welcoming and bareable.

Great classes, helpful staff on reception and motivational instructors

I enjoy the classes that i do of an evening time after work, Aitor is such a great instructor, very knowledgeable and is very good at his job. He generally cares about the people attending his class, asks if anyone has any injuries etc and will then give you an alternative exercise to do if you cant do something. I feel the gym equipment is good in the gym and lots of different machines/free weights to choose from. It's just a shame that Ashton gym has closed especially as now it's getting harder and harder to book onto classes as they are nearly always fully booked
