Hyde active has a brilliant gym and lots of good classes. The instructors are very friendly and very helpful.

I would reintroduce lane swim bookings though as the 6.30am lane swimming session is getting rather busy due to the closure of Ashton pool and the fact that Denton wellness centre charge for parking. Some mornings it’s really difficult to swim round people who are just chatting 2/3 abreast
Great group exercise classes.
I enjoy Cathyann’s Pilates and Paul’s HiLo Retro and holistic fusion. Very uplifting and fun.
All group exercise classes are really full and difficult to get on- maybe this is due to Ashton members moving over to Hyde and Copley.
Please could we have some more extra classes to fit everyone in so people don’t get fed up that they can’t book on?

I decent place to work out.
I will be using Active Hyde for the Early Bird Swimming. It was my first visit on 1st September and I will be using from now on.
I used to go to the Ashton Pool but sadly no longer available. Hyde is just a little bit further to com but is ideal.
I was impressed with the facility
Its a lovely facility - apart from the pool changing area (compare this to the gym changing area).
I love the pool because it is deep - now the only one in Tameside.
Wish the cafe was open more often though
All the services but there are issues with lockers and the showers if these were resolved then active would attract more members
It is in result of the quality and friendly staff at Hyde who have gone out of the way to support me in preparation for surgery
ALL the staff are friendly and helpful
Enjoyed the swimming pool, especially small pool for the grandkids, lovely and warm for them
I liked Ashton for sauna and steam l like Matlock for swimming as it’s near to me and l like Denton for taking grandkids swimming because off the small pool l think it’s good value for miney

I took my granddaughters to the swim and waves. Although they had fun there was not enough changing cubicles when we came out and we were stood around for quite some time waiting for one to become available.
1st time used gym , swim and sauna very impressive really clean

Facilities here are usually clean & tidy, plus the pool is nice & cool,
The only issues I have is the lack of keys in lockers and that there is usually a problem with the vending machines (not working properly, not accepting cash & occasionally not taking card payment either). Plus the area where the tables and chairs are located is like a sauna!
First visit for lane swim. Staff helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean. Free parking a bonus. Highly recommended.

My name is s khan and been going to this gym for last 3 years or more.very professional team and amazing staff.always very helpful.always place is clean.10/10 for all the receptions the managers the gym staff and and cafe staff.honestly I am always recommending this place 10/10.friendly always found there customers service skills are highly professional always welcoming and the best thing is you will never find any area of this gym dirty.👏👏👏👏weldone to the team and Managment
