Nice mix of cardio & weight training. I like the music but I do feel that the music needs to be played louder. Over time the coaches have softer music than when OT first opened. Good, loud music is a huge component to the success of the class.
The community and the structure of the classes
I've been a member since 2016. It has been the best decision for my health. I feel stronger and love the coaching I receive every class. The bonus is the friendships and encouragement you get from everyone else. Thanks OT!!

Challenging and great motivating coaches
I love how to make it easy for me. Easy to book, easy to understand and easy to like. The workouts are just hard enough to keep me improving! My goal…. Better by 50.
The variety and the overall fitness approach
I like that it is individualized to me personally. I like that it is based on science and human physiology.
The studio just has a great energy, coming from the great front desk staff and of course the spectacular coaches. Workouts are varied and difficult—enough to push me to try my best. All in all, I love my time with OTF Sugarhouse!
I love to go to the early 4:55am workouts to start my mornings off. I then have my time for me and enough time to get my kids ready for school & myself for work. I also have loved having the male OT coaches Peter & Matt! They are great! OT has changed my life! Thank you!
I have done every kind of workout and OrangeTheory is my favorite. I like that I can go as hard or not as I want and I love seeing my heart rate and zone on the screen. The other day, I sat down and took a break and felt totally justified because my heart rate was in the red. Other days I'm so proud of myself for stepping up my push pace or running a little longer than last time. It's very motivating. I listen to my body more than in other workouts and I just love the atmosphere. It's great.
Efficient, I know in real-time whether what I'm doing is making a difference, it's a challenge (kind-of a game), music, variety, screens with weight-lifting demos
I love the mix of tread cardio in with strength training!
I like the variety of workout sessions each day. I like the commitment signing up has required of me. (i.e., I pay the money so I'd better go!) The coaches are all upbeat and knowledgeable. They correct your technique when necessary and 'keep the train running on time.'
It's different and fun
I appreciate the challenges in exercises that Orange Theory offers. I also appreciate staff allowing substituting bikes/striders for the rowers....rowers are not my favorite.
It’s a great workout and is motivating. It feels totally doable because I feel like I can hang in there for anything for just an hour. Having to sign up for the class in advance really helps to make sure I get there. Seeing my heart rate up on the screen motivates me to push harder!
They work
It’s very intense and keeps me moving. I lose more calories than at pure barre.
