Clients/Member Testimonials
The expert coaches, the thumping music and the variety in the workouts!
I love that workouts are different each day and focus on different areas of the body. All of the staff members at the North Mount Pleasant location are amazing!
Everything!
I always work harder at OTF than I do on my own.
Amazing workout and awesome supportive coaches!
Coaches are fabulous. Programs are tough, but rewarding.
I visited twice this past week and each time I felt welcomed and it was a great workout (as always!)
The team atmosphere, the coaches, and the constant change in the workouts.
It’s a full body workout plus, the tech nerd in me is satisfied with my health stats always in view during the workout. I really enjoy the “competition with myself” aspect of that. As someone who has never really enjoyed HIIT workouts, I really enjoy it way more than I thought I would.
Great coaches, workouts and members!!
Instructors were great
Great coaches! The workouts a varied and well thought out.
I confess that I’m a Orangetheory “addict”. I started in 2017, and have gone to almost 1,650 classes. Almost hard to believe!
I get bored easily and no workout is ever repetitive or the same. I like to monitor my performance and I’m competitive, so the ability to monitor my heart rate, splat points and calories burned is very important to me (and I watch how others are doing and I “silently compete” with them; I like to win).
The staff and coaches are almost always awesome; I’ve attended classes at 3 different studios and over the years have probably had 100 different coaches and I’m batting 99%. The administrative staff has always been great and helpful.
One fear that I (and I think others) have when starting something new is the intimidation and not being able to keep up with the other people in the class. I have never seen that be an issue at Orangetheory and there is a “wide range” of people in the classes (from OLD people like me to younger people who look fit and in great shape). Everyone does their best and “best” is different on a person-by-person basis. With my age now (late 60s), I have to modify various of the exercises and I can’t go as hard as the youngsters, but no one would ever accuse me of goofing off. I bust it in those classes and in many things (like when we are on the rower), I can hold my own with even the younger people.
How many people would ever show up for a fitness class if you didn’t have to sign up and commit? NOT ME!! I’ve belonged to several gyms over my lifetime and I’d pay for a membership and show up a half dozen times during the year (of course with intentions to go every single day). In those nearly 1,650 classes, I have never missed or been late for one. When I commit, I commit. The accountability is great.
Many of us arrive 10 to 15 minutes before classes and it’s very social with many of us joking around or getting caught up on the latest activities, kids, grandkids, school, etc.
The encouragement from the coaches. And the ability to do what works for my body!
The coach is there to instruct me.. I think that’s why I’ve always failed at working out in the past.
Coaches! Super motivating, willing to help with each person’s ability and needs. Love the checkins and way they make you feel missed.
Coach Conner has a way of making each person feel praised for their hard work with such sincerity and respect. It’s not just hurrahs for everyone in a generic way, but true sincerity!
Studio is always clean & inviting. They also keep up with community events and encourage the team aspect by extra events.
Nicest studio I’ve ever been too! Everyone was so nice and motivating!
I enjoy the total body workouts. The staff is awesome keeping us all working correctly and safely and giving such wonderful encouragement so we all can reach our fitness goals.
The coaches help and motivation. Also the music and the atmosphere.
I love the group support and being cheered on by the coaches. TK has been so helpful in my journey with OTF. I have lost 37lbs since starting to workout with him. I am gonna miss him now that he has moved to Irmo! There is also something nice about someone else deciding the workout so I dont have to think about it!
Everything is different each time I go
Fast and effective. Love the treadmills. Florence coaches are fantastic! Just wish more class times were available early afternoon.
The fact that I really work hard- encouraged by music and my coach! Full workout aerobic and strength!
Love the place for work out
They seem to go by quickly
The workout is different every time I come in. I love that, I don’t get bored! The coaches are all very good: enthusiastic, positive, fun, friendly, and helpful with technique tips! That’s what keeps me coming back!
Top-notch trainers with awesome cues and an outstanding playlist of kicking music!! Love it!! I finally know what all the buzz is about!!
The 1 & 2G format are a nice mix of cardio and weights.
However there needs to be some consideration for the music selection. Music that includes suggestions of “I want to F your mother” or “I want all the girls to be strippers in poles” is really not what I imagine the image OTF wants to promote. I understand the Drake class music was assigned by corporate so please give them this feedback. I heard a mother say to her daughter when we were leaving how terrible it was.
I like the length of the workout, the variety, the music, etc. Most everything, but I responded because I wanted to say that Connor is doing a really good job managing the studio. I've been a member for a couple of years and Connor has brought stability, enthusiasm, encouragement, and good energy to the studio. I'm glad he's there.
I like the accountability of OTF. I plan by booking my classes and showing up. I like the interaction with the coaches, giving encouragement along the way (workouts). If you are doing an exercise wrong, they correct your form. I am in my 4 year at OTF. I go 4-5 days a week, I feel it is a good value for my money. I have toned up, increased muscle mass and lost weight.
