It all starts with the front desk. Extremely friendly, courteous and flexible--always a smile! The trainers are talented, well-trained and fun to work out with, and they are all exceptional athletes. They will motivate and encourage you to be better. Typically, they recognize individuals that are performing above their normal level. They are helpful in correcting one's form or recommending alternative exercises.
The workouts are tough, and one would think they would get easier as you build stamina. However, the workouts don't seem to get easier and this should be due to the fact that one pushes harder to improve times on running, rowing or lifting weights.The workouts randomly emphasize a combination of endurance, strength and power (speed). If you like going to the gym with a diverse, regimented workout each day with someone directing you, this is the place for you. There is no loafing or small talk during a session, just 50-60 minutes of strenuous work at your designated level. If you have issues with rowing and running due to injury, there are stationary bikes and striders. Collectively, a high quality workout--highly recommended!
