I went for a meet and greet and found Dogtopia to be very pleasant. The staff was friendly and explained their schedule and services. I think this will be a nice option when I need to run errands and appointments. Pleased this is close to me.

We like that the staff is well trained and enthusiastic about our Girls. They truly seem to care for their well being. We also like the hours of operation and convenience to our home. The facility is clean and stimulating for our pets.

The people are friendly enough ,they are not very informative. When reviewing boarding, the pricing is not clear on the website. I was told food was included in an overnight stay… it is not. I booked daycare and was approved online, I was told when I bought my dog in 7AM she couldn’t stay because she wasn’t spayed… I had a job interview at 9.AM. Also you cannot go see where your dog sleeps.
The video camaras in the are nice, but they are off a lot .
A world of difference compared to Petland, Way nicer people and my dog Rocco seem even impressed.

The cameras where our dog was on Saturday morning sere not on. When I picked him up around 10, I mentioned it a was told it had something to do with staffing. However, I checked a little later and the camera was functioning.

The staff at Dogtopia Halifax are always kind, friendly, and approachable. They really do treat your dog like it’s their own. I don’t know how they manage to remember all the dogs names. My dog absolutely loves going to daycare and I have never once questioned taking him. The staff are all well educated on dog behaviour. Additionally, I love the fact that Dogtopia offers live webcams so I can check in on my dog and watch him play with all his BFFF.

I love the new ownership and the care team at the Gainesville location for Dogtopia. They really seem to care about dogs and I like the fact that they offer extra petting time for small fee to the owners. Please continue to keep up the good work.
Arranged to have a bath for my dog when I checked him in for daycare at 9 am. When I picked him up at 5 pm they did not have time or the staff to do the bath

Decrease time in which dogs are kenneled for overnight care..(ex. A few employees could stay into the evening hours so the dogs would not have to be in their crates for 12 hours)
The staff is super loving and caring, my dog feels safe at Dogtopia and he seems to have a lot of fun making new doggie friends!
The hours, the staff are phenomenal, cost is perfect and the peace of mind that he is in good hands and has a blast whenever he is there.
