Problem with the AC unit condenser - appeared to be a problem with the contactor to me as the unit was short cycling on startup. It was cool outside, maybe 60 degrees or so. unfortunately, the unit was operating fine when he started it up. Service man first checked the charge and thought it might be alright, checked wire connections, etc, then checked the thermostat history and changed his mind about the problem and concluded it was low on charge. Some one to come back next spring when the weather is warmer to recheck.
I agree that the problem might be somewhat hard to diagnose

Right after the guy left, my thermostat said "system malfunction call technician." Also I kind of got the hard sell to join the regular maintenance program.

Ben was super. Friendly, personable. Explained what he did with the furnace. Also checked the water heater. Did a great job explaining your customer program. He is an asset to your company!!!!!

Be specific and clarify the difference between a TUNE-UP and an INSPECTION. I had 2 furnaces, (duplex) one that needed a tune-up (supposedly) and the other needed an Inspection. That went smoothly or so we thought. A technician needed to return to my house to do a recheck on the "tune-up" furnace for inspection purposes due to selling of the property. It all got confusing, for me and the technician. In the end, all was handled fairly well, but I had to pay for 2 visits/travel fees, and it all could have/should have been done in ONE.

The agent arrived on time and called in advance to let us know he was coming. Very professional, no-nonsense approach. Explained everything clearly. Overall very satisfied!
