Standard Heating did a great job of quickly fixing my broken furnace. I was able to quickly get an appointment for a quote on a replacement furnace. I was pleased with the knowledge of my Standard Heating representative. We will be placing our order soon.
Professional, friendly, prompt, no sales push
You were able to get someone to my house within a couple hours on a sub 0 day. The service person was friendly, efficient and made an effort to not make a mess.
Friendly and efficient
It was difficult to wait 16 hours for service without heat in below zero weather. Since you could not provide service, it might have been helpful if you had given me some suggestions on a few simple things I could try to get my furnace running again. When your service person came out he agreed with my assessment that the thermostat batteries were probably weak and caused the furnace to shut down and although I immediately put in new batteries and it definitely showed a brighter window in the thermostat, it didn't restart the furnace. I could have tried the reset switch by the furnace (which I didn't know about) that he did to get it started again. If it worked for me, I might have avoided a miserable 16 hours in a frigid house and wouldn't have needed a service call after all. Your service person did just that and found no other reason for the furnace shutting down. Thank you for checking it out and I'm at least relieved that no serious problems were found. CB

Standard Heating has done many installations for me. They always meet or exceed my expectations.
The technician that worked on our furnace was very friendly; he explained and showed me everything that he was doing. He then made sure the furnace was working correctly before he left.
We live in Rochester and use the townhouse as an escape. We know very few people in the city but will sing your praise to our few friends in the townhouse complex. You did NOT disappoint us - you give excellent service!

Install correctly in the first place. Cold air return (or whatever it is called) was left hanging down, with the cold air blowing directly onto of pipes that water goes through from the furnace to the floor drain...
Gentleman that came to fix it, the morning after furnace stopped working and the temp in the house was 56 degrees, did a great job and was nice.

Even though it was a Sunday, the sales person Steve Von Bokern responded with a phone call. Also, the technician who did the work was very professional and responded to all our questions and offered additional advice like signing up for Smart Club which is really a good idea. All in all, excellent service!!
