I moved my staff before into a storage unit. The Company offered me 2 trucks which I denied, since the volume in the storage unit and previous truck was actually smaller than the one offered, so I knew it had to fit.
The movers did a very poor job on re arranging my staff and told me that I needed to pick what to take and not to take. I contracted a truck until full, but not full of air. I had to bring my car to take some things with me. The Company never didn't try to fix the issue, and instead the offered me to hire them again so they could take the rest of my staff. (laughable... I know). I am moving again in 2 weeks, and this Company would be at the bottom of my list
Our first experience with Meathead, one year ago, was terrific. This recent experience seemed slightly less polished. This recent move was leaving the house that Meathead moved us into one year ago (same amount of stuff), but the move took longer and cost more. Overall I was just less enchanted by this round. I'd recommend Meathead to friends/family, but if comparing the two moves, the first was a much more pleasant experience.
The kids are hard workers and well worth hiring
Malachi and Andrew were on time and very courteous. They were geniuses at packing the pod. Very careful but worked rapidly. I’m very happy and appreciated their help.

We were asked if we wanted to use pads but It was not made clear how they were going to use them so after wrapping up every stick and 74 pads later our bill was double the estimate. We realize we will get some money back for the pads but not for all the time it took. We feel like we got scammed.

Your sales office. The young students were the best but they can only do what the sales office lists for them to do or they have add on’s. There were some things that were left off the list of what to transfer over and they counted as add on’s. Plus the truck that was used was packed with no room to spare and there were a couple things that didn’t make it over. Had we had the 20 boxes we said we would have they would not have made it on the truck. 3 hour minimum sounds good but be up front a little better and let people know that even a move of less than a mile is going to take more than three hours. In fact about $1,000 over the minimum. Just saying to be a little more transparent. Again the guys worked hard and took good care of all of our things.
The two guys you sent me were awesome. Very professional and they took pride in what they moved. You can tell they cared.

These guys were very efficient, polite. They ask questions so my stuff was place where I wanted it and willing to move couches and boxes when I decided it should go to a different spot. I had a big swing that I really wanted moved and was not sure it was possible to do. They made it work! Moving is always tough and these guys helped make it not as bad. A big thank you to them!

They moved everything and didn’t complain. Some items were very heavy, and they handled them well. We were very impressed with their strength and good attitude.
