My 2 yr old and my mom love going to Joe Farmer. We usually do as many laps as possible, hop on the stationary bike and we also love the air hockey table. It's not super congested like many gyms around Allen, we also love to be able to walk around Bethany Lakes and go play at the playground. Lovely place for family time.

The Senior Center is well set up and I came there to renew my membership, which after several keystrokes on their computer was achieved along with my payment of course!
Overall I'm very pleased with the staff and facility. The staff are usually pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. The facility is kept clean without being obsessive. Locker rooms likewise are clean. Oversall, nice without too much glitz or clutter.
I do wish the video system feeding the cardio machines was correctly updated after storms or 'Emergency Alerts' come through and knock it off-line. Usually the Spectrum News is on multiple channels, instead of showing FOX News and CNN and other stations as shown in the titles.
Very supportive staff! I had to shuffle around to find same available time slots for my kids' swimming lessons (at different levels) and Valentine and Eric went above and beyond to assist me with my request.

The Don Rodenbaugh Aquatic Facility is a highly valued community resource, and its extensive offerings make it a strong candidate for a positive recommendation, especially to friends with young families or those prioritizing an affordable, comprehensive gym/aquatic membership
The variety of programs offered
It is a great facility for the membership price. I am not a resident of Allen, but it is still cheaper to use Joe Farmer than anything in McKinney. Also I like to play racquetball and there are few options in the area.

I love the Beginners and Improvers Pickleball class! Angie and Chris such are gifted coaches -they have taught me so much in a short amount of time and really improved my playing ability. And I love the Joe Farmer facility. It's such a unique structure with lovely views of the pond nearby.
Emjoyed Yoga and Silver Sneakers classes. Also used the gym machines. Everyone there is friendly.
Walking track is my favorite especially on bad weather days
