Superb customer service! We dropped the bike off on a Monday, and received a text later that day that it had been repaired (thought it would take a couple of days). Drove up on Tuesday to pick it up - only to find the shop is closed on Tuesdays...BUT, the owner was inside at the time. He unlocked the shop and we were able to pay and pick up the bike.

The local bike shop is a crucial resource to the community it serves. John's is run by caring, knowledgeable cyclists. John's engages with the greater cycling community through social media. Also, they regularly offer used bicycles for sale. Most shops First name removed't. I saw a used bike on their social media that was such a bargain, I felt i had to act. A good deal is a good deal. My son and I made the trip from 160 miles away. The young man, Mitchell, who took my call twice that day was helpful and knowledgeable. When we arrived, I wanted to make sure the bike's front and rear air suspension was set for my weight. Mitchell looked up the required settings and applied them to my new bike's suspension on the spot. My buying experience was very satisfying- six hours of driving notwithstanding!
