I like the classes that are offered in the pool. I like the staff, very friendly and helpful.
I’ve been a member since moving to Fort Wayne in 2022. While I was a longtime Y member in California, the staff, facility and community at the Weigand Family Y is so far superior to any of the Y locations I’ve frequented elsewhere. I love the compact size of the Weigand Family Y—there is everything I need and want and nothing I don’t—and the smaller size relative to other locations makes it so much easier to get to know staff and fellow members.
Above all, a huge shout out to Tammy! I love her classes, training tips, enthusiasm, proactive approach and spirit. Can’t imagine my Fort Wayne life without Stretch and Strengthen class thanks to Tammy!

I enjoy the exercise classes; especially Pound, Strong Nation, Zumba, and Cardio Dance. The personal attention from instructors is so supportive!

We love going to the Whitley Y. Mary, Penny and Mason are always friendly, helpful, and a ray of sunshine. The facilities are clean but notice that some lights in the workout area need replaced. It's been awhile and still not working. Not sure who is responsible but apparently they must not notice or they are just not there very often...
I love the stretch classes and the weight machines. The staff is so very friendly and accommodating.

I really liked the period of time from late December to early January where members could bring a guest for free. It made having company a great time.

The facilities are always clean. I love to see the kids area not hidden away in walled off rooms. It makes me happy to walk in and see the kids playing. The rock wall is unique to this YMCA as well.
