I use the pool about 4 days a week. water could be much warmer in the winter, locker could just some work.I like it when people say hello or good morning when you come in.
some lap swimmer think they own the pool.
I love the cleanliness of the indoor facilities, the classes offered and the track. I also love the outdoor pool. We did have an unfortunate experience last week. My grandchildren were in town and we decided to visit the pool. I got 2 checked in at the desk and headed outside with them while the nice woman at the counter finished with my daughter in law and the remaining 4 kids. I scanned in at the pool and told the girl the rest were on the way. We walked over to chairs and got our shoes off. When my daughter in law and kids got to the check in, they told her the pool was at capacity and wouldn’t let them in. We waited for a few minutes and watched at least 6 people exit the pool area. The girl told us they were way over capacity and at least 30 people would need to leave, it would be about an hour. The kids were in tears, half the cousins in and half out!
I believe this could have been handled differently with more compassion.
We will be back, but it was definitely a negative experience!

I love the classes I take - aqua Zumba and silver sneakers. Both are a lot of fun and great workouts.
I love the pool & the water aerobics class. Every one is friendly, and it is kept up well.
Friendly staff, indoor walking track. Plenty of free weights and weight machines. I haven't tried any classes yet but I plan on it!
Everyone was very welcoming and helpful and the facility was excellent!
It is very close to my home, we have wonderful instructors. I am trying to keep healthy and fit as I age and they are there to help me.

I have the pleasure of using the Parkview facility in the early morning during the week. Several of the staff members are kind, friendly and welcoming. A thank you to Maren, Natalie, Austin, Linda, Cameron, Brenden, Aleesha, Deonte, and Bridget, Don, and Taylor (aquatics) for their smiles and conversation. They assets to the Y.
This Y is far and beyond the Y here in Van Wert. I refuse to go there. I’ve tried but it’s so outdated. I miss the Fort Wayne Y’s big time.

My kids love the Parkview Y child watch a whole lot. They are always so kind and patient. It makes it easier to go workout. I really appreciate their quality child care!
Central Y is always special to me. Staff is friendly and the location is perfect as I work downtown. The facility needs renovated. I know there was a campaign a few years ago that lost steam with leadership transition, but it really needs to be revived. I hope Central has a role in any new strategic plan.
Childcare staff are great!! I always feel safe with my children being in their care. Facility is always clean. We love the pools!! We go multiple times a week. I love the sauna!
