Love the hot yoga classes!
Hot Yoga classes.
Clean, good vibes, friendly staff
The facility is very near our home so we can walk. It has the facilities we want, and the staff is very friendly.
Staff is the best!
Beautiful facility, clean, friendly staff. Lots of equipment for any work out.
Best staff, great facility in the heart of downtown.
Everyone is so wonderful. I can’t remember the young man’s name who helped me with the equipment (Donovan, I think maybe) but he made me feel so comfortable asking questions. Weight lifting equipment can be really intimidating for a newbie but he said “no question is a dumb question in my mind” and that really made me feel so welcome and comfortable! Thank you!!
I love Poyner. It’s perfect for people working or living downtown. It’s well maintained and great balance of cardio / weights / and classes. I have started doing more hot yoga and it’s so nice to have that on a very cold day.
Hot Yoga is the best part of the Y experience. Instructions are amazing! Especially Scott, he makes my day and keeps me motivated.
Poyner Y is in a perfect location, has great amenities and classes and the staff is amazing. It’s a wonderful asset to and a key component of the downtown community.
The hot yoga is such a treat! Highly recommend
Great facility, convenient location, fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, always clean, they keep the equipment up to date, reasonable price - what's not to love?
Boutique gym experience
Love the location and hot yoga!
Great staff - a clean and friendly environment!
I like that it is not crowded and that it is near my work.
Location location location...and nice asthetic, sauna, and yoga classes.
New modern feel, great class offerings (hot yoga is awesome!), friendly staff.
The Poyner's workout room has a great mix of free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and open space for mixed workouts. I also like having a weighted sled available, something most gyms don't have.
Everything. This is my first gym membership
The YMCA provides a comfortable, professional, clean gym experience. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Always a weekly highlight!
Location is amazing. Has great equipment. So easy to get in and get out. May have dropped my membership if this location did not exist.
It is a large, clean facility with plenty of available equipment for me to pursue my fitness goals. It is a friendly environment and well spaced out to not feel overly crowded during a session. Also, the membership allows me to visit other Wake County facilities and I even worked out in a facility in New Jersey.
Friendly staff, not too crowded
Friendly staff, nice equipment, not too crowded
All good. However the phone app and website are not easy to navigate. I can log on the website but not on the app. On the website it is impossible to see the schedule because it wants to make me log in and keeps going round in circles. Will seek assistance.
I love the hot yoga room!
The employees here are so kind and take great care of the facility. Thank you so much going the extra mile for me
Everything works and the traffic isn’t terrible. Also love the fact that there are no children !
