Poyner is very convenient for people working and living downtown. I go to both the Alexander and Poyner Y's. I work downtown and Poyner is a great option for working out over lunch. Also, the people at the front desk at Poyner are very friendly and welcoming!

I was at Poyner this weekend because my Alexander class was moved there do to floor refinishing, so it was my first time at Poyner. It was lovely from check in to exit. People were kind and helped me find what I needed.
I was very surprised and delighted to find out Poyner Y at the heart of downtown Raleigh, right on Fayetteville street. And the great treat is the hot yoga room. I definitely will try to utilize it with my membership as much as I can.
The hot classes are AMAZING. I drive 20+ minutes to go to them!
It was my first time going to pointer and the front counter. Staff was very helpful and helping me find the dressing room and showing me where my exercise class was to be conducted. I had the opportunity to see some folks I knew in the facility and they were very welcoming. My class was in a third floor exercise room and it was well ventilated. I left my belongings in a locker, and I was very happy with the locking mechanism.
