Outdoor water aerobics
We mostly use the pool and the community events. We like that the Y is family-oriented. We feel safe when we are swimming or when we come to community events, like the 4th of July celebration or the fireworks the weekend before. For the pool specifically, the lifeguards are very attentive to both swimmers and the weather (while our kids hate it, we appreciate the strict pool closure policy in response to thunder). We also have always found the facilities (pool, bathroom, parking lot) to be very clean and well cared for. These are small things, but they matter to our family.
The instructors are all different, yet really good. Some add humor to the class, while others are more intense. The front desk people are friendly .
Nice staff, plenty of equipment, a non intimidating environment to work out, great class offerings and staff
My family had a great time. My husband enjoyed coaching and our sons had a great time playing on the team and assisting in coaching. Great experience over all!
The kids programs
The atmosphere is friendly, and the classes help me navigate being older.
Friendliness of the members and most of the staff.
The people are friendly and down to earth.
Convenience of the location.
Thrive classes
Variety of offerings
Great classes!
Swimming and the gym
I love the classes at the Y - one thing I find annoying is I get there early and there are stations set up for members that are not there yet ( which is nice ) but for those of us that come early or on time have to place ourselves around them .
I love coming to the Y and have a great experience each time! The only suggestions I have are:
1. More hours for the kid zone in the summer - specifically the lunch time hours :)
2. Work out classes - love the classes but I would LOVE if there were options for a full weekly plan like for example: Monday (lower body) Tuesday (upper body) wed (core/cardio) Thursday (lower body) Friday (upper body). In the past I remember there being lower body and upper body but they would be in different weeks.
The staff is always pleasant and friendly, the instructors are fantastic, classes are challenging but fun, and the equipment is well maintained and clean.
Parking lot was quite crowded at 10 am.
Fitness instructors have always been great. Low turnover.
Opportunities for children through day camps, leadership training, sports leagues.
Love A.E. Finley. I love the variety of classes. I wish there were more pickleball/yoga aligning schedules because my husband likes to play pickleball while I do yoga. I love that there are multiple classes available and the yoga instructors are wonderful. I also love the pools both indoor and outdoor!
It is convenient to where I live. It offers spin classes at times during weekdays mid morning. It has lockers where I can lock up my clothes/wallet and other personal valuables while I spin. I can usually find a parking space during the week.
Mr Gerald
Bright environment, friendly people at the front desk, good class and instructor.
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I like the variety of classes offered.
Our whole family enjoys the Finley Y for swimming, basketball and working out. It’s a great place to spend time with friends too. My teenage son has recruited several friends to join and loves to have a place to meet after school for a basketball game, or swim, or both.
Socialization, support from other members, community feeling
Pools, women's locker room and water aerobics class.
Need more lap lanes for adult swimmers. Today there were only 4 lap lanes available due to camp and water aerobics.
I really like that you open at 5:00am. I really like the towels. I really like the child care. Thank you!
My family has been members since 2003 and we love everything about the Y!
There are a lot of different classes during the day for different levels of skills. The equipment in the gym is laid out well and easy to use.

They always have a lending ear. Always been treated great!!!!!!
