The only thing that I would add is that the Cary NC YMCA is the largest YMCA in the Triangle area. It has more weight equipment and very spacious. It is nicely organised…
It would be nice if all of the Triangle YMCAs were built similarly…
The leaders know my child and seem to genuinely enjoy them! They never seem grumpy or too flustered. My child talks about the fun activities they do. It’s a great way for my child to socialize and have fun after the school day.
Derrick Sidbury is a tremendous asset to the afterschool program at Brooks Elementary. My family is tremendously grateful for Derrick and the after-school program team through the YMCA. My daughter loves the after-school program and begs me not to pick her up early so that she can stay for most of the program!

The ability to provide my kids a safe environment that is fun and engaging while I am at work! We love the counselors there at Barton Pond -- they are AWESOME. Daniel knows all the kids and parents (and their cars) and we appreciate how positive and happy he always seems. We also love Lunden too! Our boys love that they can see male role models like this and I know they love the various activities inside and outside that are provided. We are so grateful to have before and after school care for our kids.
In general, I feel the counselors care about my daughter. There is one counselor that is "assigned" to help her as she needs extra help. I feel she does not seem very enthusiastic about it from the little interaction we have at pick up. Other than that, I feel it is a very good experience.

The YMCA very close to my job.
I love the indoor and outdoor pools, it is so nice to have the outdoor pool heated in the cooler weather!
