A friendly environment
There are so many amenities in the facility. I also love the class offerings; the instructors are all kind and motivating.
The Y is great. I have been an active member for a year, however the new app is extremely difficult to to use. Hard to find classes. Impossible to cancel a reservation when unable to attend. Now apparently the no longer have any yoga class options on Saturdays. I am very disappointed.
I did recommend joining the YMCA to a new family who just moved to Carolina Place.

I have been a Member for decades (took a break for a few years but rejoined recently) and I love the Staff, the activities and the chance to meet new people.
Like everything you offer. Reasonably priced. Helpful staff. A great place to work out.

I hope in 2025 Y takes actions to improve access to 6 lane swimming pools e.g. those who tie up a lane for “walking “ be asked to move to other pool, partial reimplementation of reservation during afternoon, increased hours etc.

Great employees, warm environment, good classes
Swimming pool, steam sauna & dry sauna
Love coming to the Y. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, always with a smile. The place is clean. Love getting in cardio by riding the bike upstairs and swimming laps in the pool.
The only thing I would request is a digital clock outside the sauna so you know what time it is/ how long you’ve been in the sauna.
A question I have is Why is there not a water fountain in the women’s locker room? We have to go out into the busy hallway to fill up our water bottles and most of the time we’re the thirstiest is coming right out of the sauna or steam room- usually in sports bra/ swim suit/ shorts.
