The bathroom drains need to be addressed regularly.
I brought it to staffs attention for 1.5 weeks for the disgusting smell of the drains in the Family dressing rooms.
Unfortunately, members are often are pigs.

Great swimming facilities! Warm water ! Clean locker room and swim deck .
I just moved to Wilmington,, and recently joined the NIR family YMCA off market Street. I spend most of my time in the wet area swimming laps. I love the pool and all the lap lanes available for swimmers. The lifeguards are very attentive and friendly. The locker rooms are clean and spacious. The steam room and sauna work very well. The men showers always have soap in the dispensers and are very clean.

From the moment I walk in until the moment I walk out… I feel joy!
Lots of activity choices and convenient location
Cleanrest rooms, locker sauna, steam & showere, ball courts, workout area, vending area. Programs for all ages youth, elderly, friendly staff helping, front desk workers welcome & greeting everyone.. only problem members are neet one or two don't put stuff in lockers leaving piled in floor in front or 4 lockers so you can't get to your locker.
Parking lot & YMCA CLEAN friendly workers also.
