Friendly staff, cleanness and very well equipped. Great courts and pool. Locker rooms always impeccable. Grounds are well maintained and there's plenty parking even when is packed.

Today was my first day at the Nir Family YMCA and I had a fantastic orientation with Ana. She was very conscientious and thorough in showing me around, familiarizing me with the equipment, and consistently checked whether I had questions or needed additional information on every aspect. I found the facility to be expansive. My only complaint is the odor in the men's locker room, which is likely due to having carpet in a close-off space that is often moist and steamy. Other than that, the experience was nice and I am hoping to sign up for a class or two later in the week.

I love the staff and the members I see regularly—everyone is so friendly and helpful! I appreciate that the classes cater to all fitness levels, so I can join in even if I’m not in peak shape. I really enjoy the vibe as soon as I walk in and always leave feeling refreshed.

It is clean, great people, great atmosphere. The machines are kept in good working condition. The restrooms are clean.

The YMCA has changed our lives. We have purpose and are getting healthy. Attending three days a week is the perfect schedule. I’m not very good with words but this experience has been life changing.
There are so many reason I love being a member of the Nir YMCA. First, they offer so many different exercise classes. No matter what your ability or interest, they have something for everyone. Second, the instructors are great! They are encouraging and never make someone feel they aren't doing well or not doing enough. They also show modifications of different exercises depending on a person's ability or limitations. The staff very friendly. I appreciate the cleanliness and the locker facilities, and absolutely love the pool and water aerobics. I have also made friends in classes- which has been nice since recently moving to Wilmington.
