I have a fitness facility in our neighborhood. If we did not, I would be at Nir YMCA because of the variety of activities, including a swimming pool.
Excellent staff!

YMCA - a positive environment, good instructors, variety of classes, good equipment and trainers, fabulous pool and on.
The 515, 530, and 6 am classes are excellent! Please keep them all on the schedule especially 530 spin which sometimes has lower attendance thanks!!
Warm and friendly environment.
All the different equipments and classes available to get the desired work out to suit my needs.
I love it and the staff
Staff, Instructors, variety of classes, and most of all the members.
It's there for me. A place to exercise; to interact with others; to get advice on maintaining an active lifestyle; and make new friends.
For an adult who is looking to work out or chaperone your child to classes, it is great and I would highly recommend. I love group fitness classes and have done swim lessons, swim team and other activities. The facilities are great. My experience with summer camps/day camps here has not been great, however. There seems to be a lack of oversight and training with the coaches that leads to bullying and an environment that I do not feel is safe for my children. If you join the Wilmington Mom's Group on Facebook there are multiple threads about this concern.

Went to Total Body Fit Lite on Monday morning @11:30 am with new instructor Stephanie. She was awesome! It was a great class. Alon was there to take attendance beforehand, keeping the class size to a proper limit.
It was a very pleasant experience!
