Friendly atmosphere and great service.
To me the NIR Family YMCA is my happy place.
When I enter the facility I see folks leave with a smile on their face.
When I am in a class (shallow water) I cannot help but smile because I feel good.

I really like the improvement when it reopened after the fire (I know that was a long time ago). A lot of classes is another plus because I mostly go to classes. I haven’t used the pool yet but I want to.

I love the fitness facilities (weight room, cardio, pool) and the locker room amenities (steam, sauna). The desk staff is just over the top--friendly and helpful.
My only heartburn is that weight room etiquette is not enforced in any way. The worst abuse is people 'parking' on machines and looking at their phones while others are waiting to get a set in. This would not be tolerated in a more serious setting. Phones should not be allowed in the fitness areas as they are essentially cameras--just a lawsuit waiting to happen.
There are lockers available for phones (and keys, wallets, etc.) but no one uses them because there either are no rules or no one enforces them.
The class instructors are great. They make you feel very comfortable working at whatever level fits your ability.
I love that my YMCA feels like a welcoming place for everyone. Facilities are well-maintained overall. And there’s a great selection of classes and wonderful resources without needless restrictions (excessive pool closures, limited facility hours, etc.). And the staff are amazing!!

All of the staff on premises are always so friendly and helpful! The facilities are clean and they have a great variety of machines and services.
I love that there are so many classes included in your membership. The instructors are truly amazing! I enjoy the people I have met since becoming a member. I also love the amenities… especially the sauna!
