I prefer Tuesday evening Zumba class be held in studio not the gym. Are class size is smaller. It's just to noisy.
Our family loves the YMCA. Nir is great, but we live in Hampstead. We'd love to see a full YMCA with a pool in this area. Thanks!

I like that you haven't increased my rate since I joined almost a year ago. $50/month is at the very top of the price point I can afford.
Now let me complain. My biggest complaint is that the group classes don't always start or end on time. Instructors should not be chatting with their friends in the class, puttin on their shoes, etc. when it is already time to BEGIN!

The diversity of members coming to the Y for a diversity of reasons. The Nir Y is ALWAYS moving forward making things better through thick and thin..
The center is beautiful and sparkling clean. Every possible fitness scenario is available. The staff is always warm and friendly, especially the lovely and brilliant Allon. The instructors are absolutely exceptional. The classes are fun and enjoyable and I see and feel results. I feel like a welcome family member among staff, instructors and fellow fitness enthusiasts, enjoying new friendships and socialization. I appreciate the diversity -- cultures and ages -- and always enjoy seeing the children. I love coming to Nir 5 days a week. It's the highlight of my week. Special shout out to Priscilla, Vidya, Lisa L and Will. They keep me fit and challenged.
Early morning staff and instructors are great.
I mainly use the workout room upstairs. People are really nice and courteous. Staff is great. I am on the pioneer program and really appreciate the YMCA offering this type of program for senior citizens. It is so important for those are disable or not monetarily able to make regular prices without this program.
Friendly safe challenging clean
I have truly enjoyed my time at the Nir Family YMCA and have always found it to be a pleasant experience whenever I go there. I typically only swim, although my wife has taken several yoga classes at the facility. I also very much like the renovations that have been made to the pool. It really turned out great!

I have been a member of the Nir family YMCA for over 35 years. While I like the facilities, especially the lap pool, I enjoy the people as much. Most people are not pretentious at the Y, and the overall feeling is one of everyone’s striving to be their healthiest possible. Sometimes it feels like a family and I have met many new friends. The staff, for the most part, is friendly and responsive to your concerns.
Best pool available to public
Everyone is so friendly and so very helpful. I think that the livestrong program is great for cancer patients, you get to meet other people who have gone through the same thing and are here to talk about it. More people need to know how hard the trainers work to make us feel good.

I really like the fact that the classes start and end on time. Class sizes are small and the instructors are friendly. The pool area is clean and there is adequate seating for parents to observe. Also, the instructors cover the skills needed for each level.
