Great instructor, let the kids go at their own pace with no pressure.
It was a great experience for my little girl who is only 18 months old. I love the techniques they taught to get the babies comfortable in the water. Definitely use them while we’re in the pool with her.
Staff was friendly and helpful while I was trying to even schedule the lessons. The coach was patient and attentive. My grand daughter was comfortable in the dacid. When she comes back next summer, I plan to enroll her in summer camp there.

Great swim instruction for our little one!
We did two sets of lessons and had Matthew for both. He was extremely patient with our child and worked well with her silly antics. Def enjoyed two weeks at 4 sessions each week and hope to be able to sign up for more when our schedule allows it.
Small class size, they monitor water chemicals in pool, lifeguards on duty, accessible to bathrooms and helps all age groups to understand importance of swimming properly.

There are levels to achieve to move to the next level. It shows the kid’s progress. The small groups are nice too. Both of my kids have learned to swim really well from the Y’s instructors!

I really benefited from my 4 wellness orientation's with John. He was great at explaining everything to me in a way that made me 10 times more comfortable and confidant to return on my own. I have joined in the past and never felt comfortable enough to use the machines until I met with John. Those 4 sessions were perfect and in super grateful I was paired with him.
It has been the best place to meet people and raise my family through sports, summer camp and afterachool. Lifelong friendships have been made. That's everything.

Saturday lessons at the YMCA have been a great option for both our children! Our family schedule doesn't allow for attending lessons during the week, so having a weekend option has been perfect. Classes are small, and both of my children have been pushed to improve, but not to the point that they become scared or resistant to learn. My kids have made such great progress in their swimming abilities that we plan to continue year round for at least the next year. The swim instructors and program leadership provided thoughtful recommendations on if/when to move each child up a level both in person and via email. It was clear that they gave much thought and consideration to each of my children as individuals and when they suggested a plan for progress. Thank you so much, YMCA Swim Lesson Staff!
