I love the fitness facilities (weight room, cardio, pool) and the locker room amenities (steam, sauna). The desk staff is just over the top--friendly and helpful.
My only heartburn is that weight room etiquette is not enforced in any way. The worst abuse is people 'parking' on machines and looking at their phones while others are waiting to get a set in. This would not be tolerated in a more serious setting. Phones should not be allowed in the fitness areas as they are essentially cameras--just a lawsuit waiting to happen.
There are lockers available for phones (and keys, wallets, etc.) but no one uses them because there either are no rules or no one enforces them.
The class instructors are great. They make you feel very comfortable working at whatever level fits your ability.
I love that my YMCA feels like a welcoming place for everyone. Facilities are well-maintained overall. And there’s a great selection of classes and wonderful resources without needless restrictions (excessive pool closures, limited facility hours, etc.). And the staff are amazing!!

YMCA works with your kids and goes at their pace. They all have a smile on their face and seem to enjoy the job.
All of the staff on premises are always so friendly and helpful! The facilities are clean and they have a great variety of machines and services.
I love that there are so many classes included in your membership. The instructors are truly amazing! I enjoy the people I have met since becoming a member. I also love the amenities… especially the sauna!

I like the family vibe. Everyone from grandparents to the wee ones can find activities in the diverse offerings for wellness. The staff at Nir are so engaging.
The YMCA is much more than a gym. It's a community, a place where everyone belongs. I can swim laps under a brand new retractable roof, work out on new state of the art Cardio equipment, play racquetball or basketball with my kids, and know that my membership also supports so many community outreach programs from life-saving swim lessons to cooking classes for diabetes prevention and management. It's just a positive experience every time I walk in the door. I always leave feeling good.
It's the people.....all about the people in the classes as well as the instructors and staff. Of course, especially, ALLON.
I like the variety of classes and schedules. It’s easy to reserve online. I wish you could reserve two days out for better planning.
Pickleball activities and staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of activities from r everybody.
