Great classes
Life guarding course should not take up any lanes during lap swim. It is busy and crowded during these times due to the small size of the pool as it is.
Please add a balance class for seniors.
All the staff is so pleasant as soon as you walk in. I have used 3 different trainers and their expertise on what works has helped me especially recovery from injuries.
I am a member of Shoreline in Guilford, but I visit Woodruff sometimes for a change of pace and the pool is usually quieter (and i LIke it is warmer!)
Its literally equidistant within a half mile to either location.
The people are so nice and helpful.
I love the Water Aerobics classes. Shout out to Val for all her hard work

The pool is beautifully constructed with the glass walls and ceiling, allowing sunlight to come in. The water temperature is perfect, and the water is clean and does not have any excess amount of chemicals.

Staff is friendly, considerate and helpful. The building and rooms are very clean
I like the group classes and the instructors however the equipment is pretty old and getting pretty ratty. I have seen people not come back because of this. The equipment needs to be upgraded. I personally also feel that a kickboxing class would be very popular and I have noticed that there are boxing bags available already.

My friend has 2 grand children ages 10 and 8 who cant wait to go to the Y.
I moved to Ct 14 years ago from NJ to be closer to my daughter and grandchildren.
My daughter suggested I join the Y so I could meet people. I did and was so glad I took her advice.I've made lots of friends and actually enjoy exercising!!!
