The new Y is gorgeous. I do wish that there were exit doors so you could go directly to your car (while wet after swimming). As it is you have to circumnavigate the entire building. . .
LOVE the new pool and weight room. The best facility I've ever used. Great for my grandkids with the excellent family changing room. Staff is so nice as always.

The new swim facility is fabulous
The new steam room has lights that are blinking constantly and I’d like to know if we can get those fixed
The homeschool options! I wish there was a little more for homeschool kids, but I appreciate what there is.

Clean facilities! Amazing staff. The new pool is more family friendly while still giving lessons and laps. The hot tub closer allows parents to relax while kids splash in the lazy river!
The sense of community is probably my favorite aspect of the Pearl Street YMCA. Since coming and building routines here, I have always felt welcome by both the staff and my peers. Whatever magic is at this YMCA, I am happy to be apart of it.

Concerned about windows into the universal changing room, Concerned that anyone can look it while walking by. Understand that changing is supposed to happen in the closed changing rooms but parents with little kids 3 and under May need to quickly change in locker room instead of having to wait for a locked changing room or need to change on a diaper changing station. Locker rooms, Universal or not should be closed and not open to public viewing.
Great aquatic center. The showers need more hooks please. One for swimsuit. One for towel. A third to hang bag of shampoo etc. or a shelf for toiletries
Sense of community, which is harder in the new locker room. The new pool is great.
What I don't like is the doors on the showers, the shower pressure, the crowded feeling in the dressing area.
PLEASE increase the pressure on the upper jets in the hot tub! All the strong jets are on the feet and ankles. My lower back is in a lot of pain since the old hot tub closed due to not enough pressure.
Community of leaders and staff and members. Each one has its spark to help each other discover their gifts paired with kingdom purpose.
Welcoming and helpful vibe by staff upon entering, clean and easy to navigate the facility.
