I like the friendly greeting and the instructors are great. I can find parking and it is an easy walk to the entrance on the south side of the building. There is a good verity of classes.
Friendly staff. Facility is available when I want it. However, your policy of allowing men in the women's locker room is very disturbing. If I had to use a locker room in order to do my exercise, I would find another facility. I would not recommend anyone with children use the Y.

Long time member; love the friendly family oriented atmosphere; all staff extremely helpful and kind. I just truly wish changes could be made to the new design with would allow for a primate men's sauna in the men's locker room. This is a big reason many men come to the Y, many must to enjoy a private sauna. The new design will be a major deterrent for many men to even come to the Y. I'm sure it isn't too late to make a change!

I enjoy the genuine friendliness of the staff and the lovely people in my water aerobics class. I have attended Cathy Hill's class since 2017.

I love how family friendly the Y is and that children are not only welcome, but there are a lot of activities for them to do.

The facilities, the staff are friendly, respectful, courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is great. A good place to start making new friends and being with old ones.
Friendly environment, clean , always machines in good conditions and groups classes
Can walk in all kinds of weather, close to home. However, stretching area is too small upstairs on the track.
I enjoy the instructors, especially the yin yoga evening classes and Sunday morning cycling class. I believe the Y listens to its members, the staff are friendly and it's a safe, pleasant environment to work out.

I so enjoy the group classes. I love Brittany's deep water aerobics class (how does she come up with so many different moves!?!), the noon water aerobics with Kaitlyn and Mark, and Zumba Gold with Penny. When my knee is up to it, I also love the challenge of Commit Dance classes.
I deeply value the community that has grown out of the water volleyball group. Member leadership has resulted in a social group that ranges in age from members in their 20s to members in late retirement. It is a special blessing in my life.

I really feel very comfortable in the Pearl Street Y. All employees make sure I feel welcome and are happy to see. Scott at the front desk always remembers my name- such a sweet gesture. Love the classes- so may to choose from. It will be great to see the new Y open soon !

I appreciate the people that work at the YMCA and the family atmosphere found throughout the facility and programs. I not only get exercise but have met and made new friends over the years. As a youngster I remember my mother taking my sister and I to the YWCA to swim. Our first introduction to YWCA/YMCA programs - that was over 60 years ago! Once I had children we joined the YMCA on Pearl Street, over 39 years of family fun!
I have been going to the ymca a long time. And it has been fantastic.

Commit Dance classes
We come exclusively for Zumba Gold. I bring my special needs daughter and sister to these classes T, Th, and Saturdays. This class is their social life circle of friends. We chose this class specifically for the dance inspiration, Latin music and more relaxed pace as they both cannot do regular Zumba( too fast, too loud, too much butt shaking for the senior population to enjoy)
It has come to my attention that the Y will transition away from Zumba Gold to standard Zumba. I strongly disagree with that change because that class( even taken down a notch in speed) is not applicable or appropriate for Seniors and people with disabilities. Rethink your plans and consider seniors and the disabled as people worthy of their own ability appropriate classes. Shawn and Brennah Davidson
