I like the group classes, especially Zumba. Also, the new building has a great pool and showers.
Great place to enjoy sports add nice people!!
The new west end facility is so nice. Spacious and clean of course. Just a really smart design. I would like to see a rowing machine and a treadmill in the weight area to get a bit of cardio in during lifting sessions. Happy to see the bike!
Dat’s classes, especially power yoga are so good. Also the muscle up classes are great.
The Y has created a space for seniors where we have become a close community, forging wonderful friendships while we address our exercise needs to build strength, endurance, and improved balance among other things as we address the inevitable limitations of our aging bodies.
I like the classes and the social interaction
Welcoming, multiple ages, active, inspiring,
Thank you!
This is a wonderful place for a family vacation with children, and for staying healthy. I really like everything here.
Easy access, pleasant environment and the staff are very friendly and accommodating
The staff are competent, friendly. I like the track which is what I use the most at the Pearl St. Y. I also use YMCA 360 online for the different workout routines that are offered.
The thing I don't like about it the most is the lack of a working bathroom on the Track level.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good programs for kids and adults. Wonderful, personalized trainers. I would like to see more classes for seniors. Especially dance classes.

has something for everyone
That most everything is included in the monthly rate! We also really appreciate the homeschool classes.
Just had a conversation with my PCP about the Y. She’s very excited about joining
Proximity to my home.
The Pearl Street Family YMCA has a lot of class options for older adults. The staff as well as the participants a friendly and helpful. I refer to them all as my Y-family.,
I love that there is a place for all the little kids, teens and everyone else. The Y has an awesome weight room! and the pools area is really cool. I was ill recently and the folks from the Y cared enough to notice that I'd been gone. It was really nice a little Y family.
The pleasant and supportive staff. The clean facility. The variety of classes offered.
Front desk staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The lap pool works well. The facility is clean.
Nice and clean!
I love the pool. I like to go with my grandchildren. They are taking swim lessons, and are much more used to using a pool now. The easy entrance is a great way to get little kids used to the water.
The pool is lovely and the locker rooms are great for families.
I love the community at Pearl Street Family YMCA! I enjoy the new weigh area and all the fun dance classes! It would be so great to have the Extreme Hip Hop Step class at Pearl Street YMCA.
Thank you YMCA team for all you do for our community!
Included with membership, variety, general quality of programs
Forming friendships
The really enjoyed the “Old” YMCA. However, i am beginning to really really enjoy the pool. I am a senior and not a strong swimmer. The pool allows all persons to use it at their pace and skill level.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Never to busy to answer a question.
The women’s shower stalls are awkward. There is no place to put shower items except on the floor or look around for a bench. Even a second door hook coukd be helpful.
Thank you for promoting a healthy facility
Family friendly, new swiming pool is spacious, even during classes there is always space that little kids and family enjoy. Weight and conditioning room is very welcoming with big windows. Love to work out in the new facility.
I really like the variety of classes. Would love to see even more TRX and commit dance times. More Yoga nidra , sound baths, restorative yoga would be great too. Love child watch!! I’m lease open it earlier in the morning. And more wknd hours. Love the variety of activities for the whole family. Staff are friendly, Y is kept clean
The group classes are wonderful. Amazing instructors.
Convenient location, everyone is friendly, Ive grown to like the new building & new weight room. I definitely didnt at first. You guys still need a 2nd Smith machine setup though.
Mina, your senior membership director, is really friendly.
I applied for a job here once and Faith responded, had me answer a bunch of questions in email, and never bothered to get back to me. Not even after I followed up with 2 emails later. Not even with a single sentence telling me they weren't interested in hiring me. So Faith isn't very cool.
