Keeps my kid busy and engaged during the summer. Always has fun stories to tell.
Friendly people, lots of choices for classes. The only thing I don’t like is the new locker room and I miss the old hot tub
They’re very accommodating. Katie and the counselors are very supportive to the needs of my neurodivergent son. He’s there for the whole summer and although it was a rough start, the team adjusted and now my son is assisted by CITs. Many thanks to Katie and team for understanding and considering my son’s needs.
Clean, friendly, supportive, inclusive. Love the new building. Allows me to stay active in multiple ways.
Especially “enhanced fitness” classes
Wonderful that we have it. Very professional and well trained instructors.
What I like about the camp is that my son comes home with lots of stories to tell me. He also really enjoys his day. I feel like he’s getting the best camp experience that I got when I was a kid. I also appreciate the communication. I feel like we are only improving as the weeks go on. Just learning from week. One what’s working and not working. And I feel really good about that.
Kids love it and are excited to go to camp every morning. They leave happy and tired, which is great!
The different activities they have and the joy of my daughter to wait for the next day for a new experience.
This is an urgent safety issue that is EASY to mitigate but HIGH CONSEQUENCE if left unaddressed.
The weight machines in the new Pearl street that are next to the climbing area have a place on top to put one's belongings such as water bottles, I often see water bottles there. If a water bottle is knocked down from that height, it can land in the climbing area, which has a lot of people, especially children, and babies in strollers. This could easily kill someone. My child will be in Pearl Street Day Camp and I have told her to NEVER stand under there.
Here's the easy fix: place signs on all such machines not put waterbottles (better yet, attach barriers so they cannot be placed there). DO THIS IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT. I first noticed and reported to the desk in April but no action has been taken.
I AM A ROCK CLIMBER, AND BELYAERS HAVE BEEN KILLED WHEN A NOT-SO-LARGE OBJECT DROPS FROM 15 FEET ONTO AN UN-HELMETED HEAD.
I would hate to see what happens when a full, metal water bottle hits a baby in a stroller.
Thank you.
I’m very excited to YMCA membership.
Friendly staff and great facilities. Decent hours, the pool could have better open swim times, but other hours are good.
It is a day filled with fun activities and my daughter always comes back happy.
How kind and accommodating the staff and counselors are
More than what I like, it is that my camper likes it.
She looks forward to going daily..seeing her new friends and counselors
Enrollment was fast and easy. The facilities are clean, well-kept, and amazing!
Location, facilities (pool), staff
Staff members are friendly and welcoming. The aquatics center, especially the lap pool, is great.
I love the Morgan Family YMCA, just wish the remodel would be done sooner. Dat, Amanda, Lexi, Anna and Daniel are the best instructors ever - my husband and I enjoy their classes very much and have gained so much from them.
Our only complaint is we do not care for the unisex steam and hot sauna as it was nice to have seperate facilities at the orignal site but that being said the new facilities are very clean and nice.
Thank you to the friendly staff as well, we always feel welcomed when we come in
Thank youYMCA!!!!!!
My son has been enjoying all his art classes--both ceramics and painting. He loves attending the classes and the teacher is just awesome. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful space for all of us; both me and my child truly appreciate it!!!
Inclusive, friendly and clean.
The choice of calsses is very good, especially for seniors. The instructors are fantastic and make the entire experience fun. Several people have listened to my recomendation and have become members and are also enjoying the classes.
The weight room in the new wing and the gymnasium in the old wing.
It is a very friendly atmosphere. Customers and staff are very friendly, outgoing and helpful.
Locations, cost, development of friendships
We like the variety of classes and activities offered- both for kids (specifically our toddler) and adults.
Our daughters are young we want them to try Arts programs without the pressure of auditions or performances. Because the arts program is included in our membership they can try all kinds of things and if it's not a fit, we can move on.
Our girls have done, ballet, tap, jazz, and piano classes some they loved others they just stuck with till the end of the session and they tried something different. It's been a great way to explore with them without a big commitment
I LOVE the new bright happy pool and weight area! The shower rooms are great because you can actually have some privacy in the showers to get dressed (a little tight, but I make it work). I take the aqua HIIT classes and the instructors are so fun and positive.
BUT….WHY is that lap pool sooo cold? I’ve been told that it’s the same temp as in the old building but I find it hard to believe. Have you had others complain? These old bones just can’t take it and the rec pool is getting more and more crowded.
The pool is bright and beautiful

Its fun and they hangout with their friends.
