Hillaree does a fantastic job leading the silver and fit 11am session. She is strong on technique and personality.
Large array of group classes, spaciousness and cleanliness, equipment, pool, social events for seniors and those with disabilities—something for everyone…very inclusive
I understand (rumor?) that silver 7 fit strength which I had attended faithfully since it started m,w,f 12:15pm may be cancelled. This seems outrageous- it is usually well attended. Will you replace it will a familiar program and at a reasonable time (not early) and not a 100 plus person class in the gym? I am considering cancelling I am my husband's membership if this occurs. Thank you
Many THANK YOUS- for fixing the Y360 tv! Especially with it getting dark earlier, now I can come & work out after work! Thank you so much!
I don't' know what's happened to the channel selections on the TVs on the second floor where the Elliptical and treadmill machines are situated.
About 2 months ago, after being able to watch all 3 local Seattle news stations, they disappeared. then 3 weeks ago, we lost access to CNN, MNS and other NATIONAL news programs. I have noticed that on the main floor, the TV's still have local and national news. i have repeatedly asked staff what happened and the response is either a shrug of shoulders, or a note is taken down to have someone address the problem. There are over 500 channels available, but no current local news. (I can get yesterday's local news on CBS). the channels used to start at Chanel 3, now the choices start at Channel 8--local news channels: gone!
So, will we ever have the local or national news again??? Do I need to pay an additional fee to get any current news without hanging around the first floors 2 TV's (The 3rd TV has only a moving picture, no sound, no closed caption, if only I could read lips)
I'M sure we must have some members who are IT Geeks to maybe help us out
Thanks for listening. Just an update would be appreciated.

EVERYTHING…I LOVE LOVE LOVE it
Lots of classes, friendly people, staff very helpful
I absolutely love the camaraderie of people of all ages, enjoying exercises as a family, friends, or self. We all share one goal...that is to feel our best.
You can see this Y is well loved just by showing up to the packed parking lot. When you enter, you are warmly greeted every time -- the staff at the front desk are all so pleasant and kind.
The equipment I've used is in excellent condition and works well, so they clearly maintain things. It's clean and cheerful inside. Looking forward to attending some of the AOA events soon.
Wide variety of activities to choose from. Excellent physical fitnesses facility with layers of options. Always friendly helpful staff.
My only recommendation is to make locker rooms larger because they get overcrowded easily during peak periods because the Tom Taylor YMCA has become so popular with locals.
Clean. Nice staff.
Awesome staff!
It looks like you got more 12lb. dumbbells- Thanks!!!
Please fix the rowing machines or tell us you can't. We pay membership dues and expect equipment to work.
love, love, love this facility, organization, and the amazing contributions the TTFY makes to our community. We have been members for a year. Muscle Up with Rana, Terri, and Katie have been more effective, fun, and transformative classes for me, and I am very disappointed that some are being replaced by Body Pump...In Muscle Up, the strength, mobility, weight training, is all PERFECT for a menopausal woman such as myself. Controlled movements have allowed me to build strength and increase my weights & reps- safely. No crazy cortisol spikes and no injuries. I am hoping you keep Katie & bring Terri back thank you for still having Rana do Muscle Up.
I've discovered Benicia's (dance) zumba class plus your Thai Chi classes. Now, I'm thinking about adding yoga. You're a great community builder- thanks!
Why change what worked? ? NO, chair yoga didn't work in the gym and doesn't work now- too big, too loud. Won't attend..
I'm very disappointed with the planned schedule changes for circuit training on T & Th. It wrecks my schedule for M-W-F classes.
Do not like the new days for silver fit classes. Circuit training will now not be available on T & Th, I can't do Wed.
They're changing days and timing of circuit class- not OK. This class is perfect for osteo- to accommodate changes I would have to change all of my volunteer work.
Adult pickleball ages seem to have changed? We had several "new" players that are very young and inexperienced. Their games went on for a very long time- aprox. 12-14 of our regular group had to wait forever to play.
I am a 5 am swimmer m-f and a later swimmer on the weekends. I also take the Saturday TRX class . Karen is am amazing teacher So helpful and enthusiastic. Martin is great as well .
I realize it is hard to keep lifeguards and get them to go in early .
Please have someone to remember to turn on the steam room in the women’s locker room everyday . That has been an issue lately especially on Saturday.
Also the lockers in the women’s locker room need to be steam cleaned . They are gross . I bring cleaning supplies from home so I can clean a locker .
I have been a member since January 2010.
I am so grateful for the Y and programs that are offered and the inclusion atmosphere.
Keep up the good work and work on the few issues .
One more thing there needs to be a lifeguard campaign so that members understand all the duties the like guards perform and that they are the first responders at the facility. We need a lifeguard appreciation day !!
Also members need to know that what the life guard says is the rule .
Friendly, the elevator, and questions answered promptly.
Parking is still tough, but has improved recently.
Swimming class for my daughter was a great experience. She loves it and kept doing it. It was just great. Love it!
Plenty of help when I need assistance or when reporting equipment issues
On the whole, a friendly and very helpful staff. Outstanding facilities and excellent programs for seniors.
The Y is always clean, machines work well and staff is friendly. The steam room is a wonderful bonus. The pool runs smoothly with attentive lifeguards.
I would like to see better enforcement for people sitting on machines while scrolling on their phones. To me, it is just a willful disregard for rules of community. While I understand that fashions change over time, young girls especially seem to wear gym attain that leaves little room for modesty. The YMCA is not a place for displaying the body.
The facility itself.
The staff is friendly.
The programs are varied, especially for seniors.
Many medical plans include free Y membership.
I like the fact that all ages and abilities are included.

Julie took me on an amazing tour. The Y is amazing and so is this young lady. Blessings for all you do!
