*Would like Mondays @9:30am in the main gym to be surge fit*
Thanks!
Please keep SurgeFit class on Mondays. Member opinion should matter- and there is consistently a full class at Surge on Mondays.
Keep 9:30am SurgeFit on Mondays!
SurgeFit on Monday Morning-PLEASE! I need it. It's always been on Mondays; I re-arrange my work schedule to go.
I would like to strongly request that the 9:30am class be SurgeFit. I don't care for stations/bootcamp. I know many people that have arranged their workout for SurgeFit on Monday @9:30am. Thank you
Please put the Monday SurgeFit back @9:30am and BootCamp on Tuesdays @ 9:30am
I would like my voice heard on keeping Monday @9:30am Surge Fit and Tuesday @ 9:30am be bootcamp. With my work schedule I can't be here on Tuesdays and I am very fond of my SurgeFit class @ 9:30am on Mondays. This class is my community and I love it on Mondays- Thank you!
I have to rework my schedule frequently to adapt to changes which occur too often- I would like SurgeFit on Monday instead of Bootcamp so I can get some sort of aerobic workout aside from Muscle Up, and Barre. Bootcamp is more of the muscle work that I already do.
Interested in surge Fit on Monday in the main gym. It was crowded in classroom 2 and so I didn't take it. There are a lot more participants in Surge Fit. Thanks!
Surge Fit & Muscle Up has been my life blood for it's changed everything about my attitude. It's miraculous for me! Please don't change the schedule or the instructors, Crystal is an incredible instructor!
For the most part I really enjoy coming there and taking some classes. Sometimes the lack of tissues in the rooms creates problems because it is so cold in them, that our noses all start to run. The largest problem I have had was the substitution of the people teaching Casiana's senior strength and fitness class. They act like we are 50 and 60 year olds, or even younger, not the 70 and 80 year olds in the class. The music was too loud, the leader was running around the room and I couldn't even follow what she was saying. That might be OK for a zumba class, but not the gentle strength and fit class. I finally had to stop going twice a week to them. I have really felt the difference in my physical muscle strength by missing them.
So many options included in monthly membership
Variety of experiences and available times as well as staff/coaches to lead sessions
Staff are courteous and caring. Reward them with Coffee Cards, Letter of Excellence, and recognition amongst their peers. Like the weight setup. Only concern is the Main Gym being used to much for non gym activities. Need an additional leg press machine. Gets busy. Additional restrooms. Upstairs gets busy. Air refreshers. I use Audoban Spray. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Rock steady boxing
The classes, the staff, the facility.
Excellent every time I visit!
It is the best "Y"!
My opportunity to exercise among friendly staff and community.
I like the variety of equipment and group exercise classes.
Well organized, happy environment, helpful staff,
The surge fit and surge strength classes are the best! The instructors Tracy and Crystal show modifications that allow all fitness levels to participate. The music is also amazing!
I also love the barre and commit dance classes .
The people are so nice and I’ve met some wonderful friends there .
My experience has been outstanding and I appreciate how you deliver on your mission and live up to your values.
Variety of exercise equipments. Good staff and clean environment,
Convenient, great staff, great hours.
They offer many activities. It is clean and the staff friendly.
Our experience with the Gig Harbor YMCA has been positive and encouraging. It is a place to socialize and not only workout but to have a second family.
Hey- THANK YOU for bringing TRX with Meredith back to T-TH!!! :)
*Please replace the small hand weight rack in the stretching area of upper level. Hand weights in rooms cannot be accessed during classes, and the ones outside room 2 get used by the class rather than the one inside the room. Thank you ;)
I have enjoyed my experience at the Y to be able to play sports with my family, however, during the afternoon, light comes for. The upper widows down onto the basletball/pickleball courts, making it very difficult to see. If we could get blinds or tinted windows, it would solve this problem for the benefit of everyone who enjoys what theY has to offer.

I stopped coming Mondays because the class calendar indicates no surge fit @9:30am anymore
