The gym is always clean and organized. The machines are usually in working condition. If they are broken, they are fixed quicky. The front desk workers are polite and welcoming.

Friendly alert welcome. Equipment is always in excellent working order. Building is kept in clean comfortable condition. Good mixture of fitness patrons from children to seniors (not dominated by macho power lifters). Diversity of health-centered social classes. Safe place for children. Up-to-date certified trainers who embrace the YMCA philosophy.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most members are as well. My favorite part is being able to play pickleball. It is such a great way to meet new people. The gym equipment is of high quality, up-to-date and clean. I also enjoy the classes included with membership. I like the "gentle yoga" on M & W @ 1PM. I wish I could take advantage of the classes more often; but, I try as much as I can. I also like the point system. It's fun to be a bit competitive and I am holding out to get a session with a personal trainer.
The Y is 5 minutes from our home. The Jump Start class is exactly what I need in my recovery from a heart attack and stroke. It allows me to go at my own pace but at the same time challenging. The fitness equipment is also available when ready.
Close by with lots of options.
