The staff and other members at the Frisco Family YMCA are wonderful. My favorite thing about the Y is the classes. Great variety and wonderful instructors! I hope Donna gets more classes, I love her pilates fusion class!
Good equipment, clean facility,Not too much crowded, instructor led Zumba , Yoga, Bike classes and access to use the gym equipment(cardio & strength) for just $53 a month. CrossFit kind of class for additional $100 if interested.Locker & Shower facilities and ample parking.
Family feel without being over crowded. Also the Powerfit Group is the best!

Great staff, all the variety of machines I could ever need, not crowded (but please keep the young ones off their phones while occupying a machine).

Everyone has been so kind and helpful. The orientation helped us learn how to work all of the equipment and where everything was located in the gym. We tried our first class yesterday and everyone was so welcoming and it was incredible. This gym feels like a place that normal people can come and work out without feeling intimidated. We’re so thankful for our YMCA!
The facility is clean and has a wonderful front desk staff. A special thanks to Ms. Ashley who provides OUTSTANDING guest services with a smile. People like Ms. Ashley increases membership for YMCA. Thanks Farzad.

Customer service representatives are friendly and always ready to respond quickly and courteously to any requests. Coaches also provide detailed explanations for any questions you might have.

I delayed doing the work I needed to get healthy because I don't like "gyms" or "gym attitude". I chose the Y because I thought there was a pool. My mistake for not researching thoroughly.
However, I think I ended up in the right place. My Medicare supp pays for a membership. I toured the Y and signed up with classes in mind. I started there. I determined I needed strength training and signed up to work with a personal trainer which turned out to be a godsend. Courtney B has taken me places I never though I would go.I signed up with Gerryl to work on nutrition. Between the two of them I am stronger, more confident. I have made major lifestyle changes and really improved my health.
