Friendly people.
Convenient location
Reasonably priced
I attend classes at the Y five times per week. I consistently chose the Y due to its exceptional instructors, diverse class offerings, and welcoming environment. A significant factor in my continued patronage is the community's commitment to conservative values. Thank you that the club didn't embrace Pride month in June. It does not align with Biblical Christianity, and I am uncomfortable with the potential influence on children's minds regarding acceptance of the gay lifestyle. I fear that an excessive focus on 'inclusion' may lead to policies resembling those in more 'liberal' clubs, where concerns about allowing men in women's bathrooms have arisen. I sincerely hope that such developments will not compromise the cherished values of my beloved Frisco Y.
Complaints; many of my fellow class companions have expressed their complaints about the lack of upper shades in the front workout room. There are large spots of sun coming through the glass which makes it hot. Plus, we try to avoid those areas which cuts down on the space for others. The shades do exist in the back workout room. Why haven't you added them to the front? It's been like this since I joined the gym several years ago. I'd rather have shades then funky lights around the mirror.
Plenty of activities
Proximity to my living place, friendly staff, equipment variety, convenient schedule, and friendly atmosphere.
The people who work there and the trainers!
I love the instructors (especially Cynthia L. and Rachel), the facility and equipment in general, even though the location is a little far for me (I live in Plano, close to the Plano YMCA) I go here quite often.
Staff facilities programs. Would like a gym and/or pool.
Every time I come it’s an exciting sweat filled workout shared by happiness!
We love Body Pump classes. You’re one of the few places around that does it. Everyone is so friendly and it’s close to the house
I have only been a member since March but I already feel like family! When I was sexually assaulted back in May, Julie Yang, the manager at my Y organized a women's self defense workshop for all the women in our community. They have truly lived up to their mission and made a difference in the community they serve!
It is a great place, well kept, great/friendly staff who are always willing to help out.
Joining the Y was the best decision I have ever made. There is a workout for anybody here!! So many classes to choose from plus a very nice size gym. I love the PowerFit class and do personal training with Lincoln.
I am like all classes at Y, so much fun 👍😊
Coaches are dedicated and very good
Love the facility. Too expensive for someone not taking classes though.
The activities
My son has had great experiences. I can take him to a water park, but taking him to a lake is harder as we don't have easy access to a boat. I love that he's interacting with kids from other backgrounds as well.
The kids love the lake! So glad they are able to have a full day experience and come home in the evenings. Mine is still singing the songs a weeek later
Coordination, activities, great engagement
The camp managers and coordinators are excellent. I had a family emergency and I really appreciate the way they helped.
Thanks
The instructors and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Location is great. Many group ex classes available throughout the day.
All staff ember are so friendly and welcoming. Instructors are FABULOUS!!!
Great diversity of staff. Mrs Julie Yang, director, does great job managing the team and facility. Cleaning staff is always professional and friendly. Facility is run well!
The Frisco Family YMCA is huge. They have an ample amount of machines and free weights along with tons of cardio equipment. I've gone to several of their classes and they have been amazing as well.
My kids had a great time, I felt like the safeguards in place kept them safe, the camp counselors were patient and fun, and the registration process was easy!
Friendly staff, clean facility, classes are great but should be offered at other times. I would love to see 4pm classes for those who don’t want to or unable to go to 5/5:30 classes.
The quality of care for my kids in my brief time with the YMCA has been excellent. I didn't expect the level of crafts and activities they're doing to be at such a high level. Couple that with our cost for a family to join and everything has been incredible. Thank you!
Convenience of the facility and the variety of classes offered.
Great instructors and friendly staff! Cleanliness is also top notch!
The support of instructor Lisa Johnston

Friendly staff, clean, plenty of equipment
