We love the family and friendly atmosphere at the Visser YMCA. Staff members are friendly, pleasant, kind, and professional. The lifeguards are wonderful. Although the price of membership has increased twice over the past one year, we do realize that everything has increased in cost. We are hoping we can continue our membership in the future but may need to reassess that in the future if the price continues to drastically increase. We would recommend the Visser Y to other people.
The only constructive comment I will make at this time is to state that the water in the hot tubs needs to be changed more frequently. They become very dirty/nasty as people don’t shower/rinse off before using and many people come directly from the steam rooms (sweating) and go in the hot tubs without rinsing the sweat off first. Also, perhaps more “Shower before using hot tub” signs could be placed. Thanks for allowing feedback!
A clean facility with a lot of equipment and programs to participate in.
It's very easy to walk right in and get to work, unlike the Wyoming and downtown location. Has a really comfortable family feel to it.

The basketball team was a great introduction for my daughter who never played and Carley Veltema was a great coach!

Coach Thomas (1/2 graders) is so supportive and has made my sons first basketball experience wonderful.

Love Visser Y, it is a huge blessing and resource for our family! Swim lessons are amazing and kidszone does a fabulous job. Would love to see kidszone open Friday afternoons and Sunday afternoons!
The staff is very helpful and positive! If for some reason, they may not be able to answer my questions and/or assist me, they locate another staff member who can assist me! Very well trained staff! Also, I appreciate that we are provided with information regarding changes ASAP. The Visser Family YMCA is extremely family friendly. I feel safe in attending this facility!
The staff keeps this gym very clean and organized

It’s small, but large enough for lots of equipment. The pools are fantastic. Personnel are pleasant and helpful when needed. Parking is adequate and easy.
