What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

It’s a clean, organized and spacious environment. The people are cool, and most days it’s not too busy to play basketball with my little ones. Equipment is well taken care of but more busy than others to do any weight training or lifting.

Good parking, very friendly staff, clean facility. Only wish would be for towels to be provided once again, and I wish there were longer hours on the weekend but I understand why they're shorter :)

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

I’m a fan of the hot tub and steam room. Furthermore, users will find the strength equipment to be clean and well maintained. The gym floors seem to always have a game or two being played. If someone wants to walk the track, swim in the lap pool or just relax in the family pool, I am certain each user can find their niche at the DD Hunting YMCA.

I like that the Y opens early because I absolutely love my 5:15 am workout community!

Love the building and the large amount of amenities! Love the new free weights that were just added and the open timing of the lap pool.

Staff are kind and it’s not too busy in the morning.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

Most importantly, almost everyone is respectful nice and helpful. Also, affordable prices for lower incomes. The only think I don’t like there are no towels and I understand why but I wish they do.

Group classes. Instructors are excellent and DDH has the most comprehensive class offerings on both, weekdays and weekends.

I love this gym. It’s a great place to go in the mornings to be by myself to exercise and then see a bunch of friends I know from church and around the city. It really is a great place for the community of GR and especially the Westside

I love the Y! The classes and alway welcoming and challenging for any level.
I have recruited 5 friends to join the Y just this year from other gyms in the area. Within the first week they state “why didn’t we do this sooner?” When you go to the Y you know people are motivated to be there, live healthy lives and want to meet other people in the community with the same goals.
