I swim at David D. Hunting YMCA. I like the pool temp, cleanliness, and the nice big windows in the pool area.
The remodel has everything looking great.
I like a hot tub soak after my swim and often have enjoyable conversations with other YMCA members.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a wide variety of machines and weights, and rarely are you waiting to use the equipment.
Good swim lessons. However, shower in a family changing room was missing a showerhead. That was disappointing.
Rodney and Francis are terrific ambassadors to our organization. I say our organization because I feel like part of the YMCA family.

The Staff are great!! Programs are great!
I appreciate that is close to my house. I now park on the street because I don’t want to pay for parking. I’m almost always there longer than 2.5 hours. I enjoy the third floor workout space. The windows are great. But in the summer I found it too hot so I skip the Y in the summer. I love the women’s spa. Thank you for this offering. I also appreciate that you help build community by offering classes. childcare, dates nights etc.

i like the early house for access to the lap pool. i love the steam room. i love the close location to my home. i love the ease of parking at the gvsu structure.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The building has a lot of light, and there are many options for exercising.

Facilities staff keeps the property very clean. Parking is a pain, but no added cost is appreciated. Equipment is kept in very good condition. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would like coffee station to stay available through the lunch hour.
Water aerobics has a great instructor, Sue.

I still think it could be cleaner, especially outside the front doors and inside the foyer. Each machine could use a deep cleaning once every six months.
We love the updated family locker rooms.
