Parking is not the greatest but everything else is great
A complete gym - perfectly built locker rooms are private to both men and women with builtin jacuzzi, steam amd sauna. Exercise equipments are state of the art. Provides accesible parking with specific space for handicap, seniors, and young families around the building, as well as shared GVSU parkin, healthy/clean environment.
I enjoy my 5am classes, instructors and community of people like me, there first to start our days! I wish I could stay for the entire class most days but my work schedule is demanding and I have to be home with limited hour to get ready and out the door for work!
Would love to see Megan back on Friday at 6:15am or 7:15am teaching her 45 minute Vinyasa style yoga! That was a favorite class and time, especially for the summer when it’s time to get outside and 11 am is late for a class for me. Even 8 am classes would be great for spin, body pump or yoga on Fridays, weekends or Wednesday mornings.
love this place! Its part of my life. Everyone is welcoming!
The space and equipment is conducive to getting a good workout. Having others to workout with is encouraging and motivating.
Friendly people, cleanliness and wide variety of exercising options.
The running track, sense of welcoming community, location of David D. Hunting and all the machines.
I have tried several in Grand Rapids. None compare to downtown. Mainly the staff and friendliness. Visser, is by far, the dirtiest and most ambivalent about their guests. Often you're lucky if they glance at you. Downtown makes you feel welcome and valued as a member! All the locations should
Learn from Rodney!
Locker rooms are great. Equipment is fantastic. Track and leaky roof is disappointing
Beautiful facility. Men’s locker room upgrades are very nice.
Pool, as always is good
Parking? Well….adds 15-20 minutes to the trip…
Staff is fantastic
Lots of space, lots of equipment, I love the programs offered for my family. Keep up the good work! ☺️
I enjoy it. Would like more classes like the fitness for life
I feel very comfortable working out at the Y.
All the class options. The women’s locker room updates are great!
The pools are so nice! The sauna & hot tub too
During a great job...
DDH YMVA is a good facility and organization that wants to promote good health.
The GROUP FITNESS CLASSES are great!
The locker rooms are woefully lacking in large lockers to serve the needs of the members! This is a serious issue that demands attention. The cubbies are ridiculous and a waste of space. Totally inadequate in serving the needs of members with gym bags , jackets and outdoor shoes and change of clothes—all of which need to be stored in a locker—a LARGE LOCKER! It is so sad to see the results of the expenditures made in to “new” locker rooms. Woefully inadequate for the faithful members.
The amazingly kind & helpful staff, the beautiful facilities, and a next-level fun experience for my kids in the kids swimming area. My daughter feels like we have gone to an indoor waterpark.
I would like a six am yoga class.
Preferably Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
I have been a member for many years, attending water aerobics class in the smaller pool. The exercises are very beneficial, especially for joints.
thank you for fixing the water pressure and temperature in the locker room.
I think the pool is fantastic Four me and my family especially having two young children. The new kid zone seems to be a good win as well however, I cannot wait until the new family locker room is complete.
I love the pool, I always see your cleaners hard at work, desk staff is ways friendly and knowledgeable!
The people I meet. The locker room is nice but there needs to be more full lockers. Some of the guys I know are deciding to no longer come to this Y because of it.
Very likely, the facility is always so well kept, people are friendly, very helpful and they offer a variety of things to do for the family and single.
I love the classes my sugar babies love the pool
I love the friendly staff, ample equipment and running track with a 360-degree view of the city. I often run into friends down there and appreciate the diverse clientele. The Y serves to help knit our community together. I just hope you're able to provide workable parking once the soccer stadium is built!

Could we have some outdoor seating near the front door?
There's not enough large lockers
Thank you
