What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

Nice facility. The man at the front desk is so nice and makes the entering experience a joy! They ask me and my 3 small granddaughters to leave the lockerroom as we were in the "womens" and not the "girls" which was inconvenient and annoying. All females in the female lockerroom, just too small. Didn't seem warranted or a good customer experience on that end.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

The Y builds relationships and community.

It is a fantastic place for kids, families, and me to hang out. This past Sunday, the parking lot was full and the facilities were 100% utilized. It was awesome to have a traffic jam on the stairs going up to the third floor. The gym was full and the basketball courts were overflowing with youth, parents, grandparents, and friends. It was a great day at the Y.

The Y is so much more than a gym.

1. Did you know the Y provided 300,000 meals during COVID when the schools stopped their meal programs?

2. Did you know that no one is turned away from the Y for financial reasons? About 20% of the members receive financial assistance.

3. Did you know that the Y provides childcare? Imagine what a difference that can make for single parents.

Come join the Y and add to the list of great things the Y does for our community.

The facilities are clean. I tried a new class and the instructor was great, she greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed for class. All the members in class were extremely welcoming and friendly. I felt right at home. I only wish towels were provided for sweating and for showers.

Easy to get to, large enough space for lots of people, many classes to choose from, and of course, the pool! The staff is always friendly and helpful too!

I would like towal services back and stay back open until 11pm Monday thru Saturday and 9pm on Sunday again

The facility and equipment is top notch. Everything from the locker room to the equipment is in amazing condition and there are so many machines to choose from that it makes me feel like my money is well spent when paying for a YMCA membership.

- FABULOUS 360 view of Grand Rapids
- EXTREMELY friendly staff (special shout out to Rodney)
- EXTRAORDINARY selection of equipment, programs and services
- AMAZING pool facilities
- GREAT attention to cleanliness
- Active and relevant social media/Internet presence
- If I thought about it long enough, I'm sure I could keep going!

Great experience so far! My only complaint is the rock wall not being opened. Not sure if it suppose to reopen or not but part of why I joined the Y is to use the rock wall!

The facility is clean, the staff is kind and helpful, and you guys actually update the machines, making the membership fee worth it. Even though it’s fairly expensive.

I like that I have options! If I want to take a class that's high-energy, it's available. If I want to get a good stretch in, I can! The pool is a great way to have fun with our kids in the winter and I love that I can get a quick workout in while they play in the Kid Zone.
