Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good fitness atmosphere, quality machines and machines work. Rarely have I come in to workout and I see machine down or not working. Everyone pretty much follows the safety protocols to wipe machines down after use and are respectful of others.

They are really friendly and communicate all the time with kids. I always hear they are chatting with different kids, making jokes and laughed when I pick up my kids. Appreciated for all the caring and supports.
They engage kids with different activities and games. if asked, they also help kids with homework.

The new addition to the team (staff). Also the programs like STEM and Zumba. My son really looks forwards to attending aftercare!
The main counselors are really good with the kids, and aftercare is reliable. Also like the extras like parties for the kids or snacks. Help with homework is also great too. Our former lead counselor, Mr. Zay, taught kids how to play chess, and my son still plays and has gotten pretty good, all from learning at aftercare :-)

It is very convenient for elementary school. My child’s care takers are the best. Ms. Mockabee and Mr. Parker are great they really take an interest to all the kids.
The trainers are very friendly and competent. The facility is clean and up to date. And there is a wide range of classes.
Mr. Zay at Edgemont and Ms. Sofia at DLC are wonderful!!
Our daughter loves her aftercare teachers. We appreciate that they get the kids outside to play almost every day even if it’s a little chilly. There seem to be a number of activities that they do on inside days as well.

The staff is extremely friendly and caring with the children. Also, they’ve informed me of everything that goes on even if it’s a little scrape on the knee to my daughter seeming a little bit more tired than usual. Highly recommend it.
The team at Edgemont after school are amazing…
Mr Isaiah is extraordinary as Edgemont aftercare site director. My son is enjoying the program so much more this year. No matter what time I arrive, the counselors are engaged in activities with the children vs talking to each other or on their phones, which was typically the case last year. I'm always greeted courteously. I'm immediately told if there's an issue with my son's behavior.
Bright, clean rooms, caring staff, small class sizes, Beautiful gym and outdoor playground. Also love that they offer swim classes.
Sofia is amazing, she’s the pillar of the experience there! All the others are also really nice and professional!
The Geyer Family YMCA has been an amazing place to watch my kids learn and grow. Each teacher genuinely cares for the students, earning the trust of the kids so they can partner with them (and us as parents) for learning. It is wonderful that there is a private outdoor playground and two gyms, as well as swimming lessons included in the curriculum. It is evident that everyone in the building loves and cares for children’s making it a warm inviting place for kids to be. Thank you!

Ms.Beverly is the absolute best! Joelle also. The YMCA as a whole continues to be a place where parents can feel at ease when their kids are at aftercare, camp, and participating in sports. Thank you for all that you do!
The providers are warm and caring and I can tell that my son enjoys the time that he spends in after care. The indoor and outdoor space is also great and there are a variety of activities that include physical activity which is a plus. I highly recommend!
