I do think this is a great resource for those living in town. If a family has teenagers, then the $110 per month family rate is very worth it.
Amazing experience for the kids!
My 7-year-old daughter was happy and energized when I'd pick her up from camp.
Keeping her away from TV and IPAD wasn't hard at all! She was ready to go back the next day.
Pool and spin classes
Very nice community of people
Love the access to the lake and emphasis on building swimming skills.
The staff is friendly The members and staff are ready to assist. usually machines are avaialable.
The curriculum was wonderful, and Miss Kristin and Mister Mike are absolutely incredible teachers.
After you get beyond stages 1 & 2, students are in the water and swimming most of the class. The instructors this year seem experienced and knowledgeable, and give good feedback to help the students improve.
Hours of pool availability
I miss the towel service!
They are focused on getting the kids perfect their technique.
Kindness of the staff. Good instructors.
All inclusive
I Love The Staff, and I love how well they work with my granddaughter to make sure she’s learning something each and every lesson. She’s absolutely loving this class & we all look forward to bringing her every class.
It offers a variety of meaningful activities for the children, such as Science, STEM, music, and swim amongst other things. It has a balance of learning and fun.
It is very organized and as parents we can meet the counselors, which I like. The kids have plenty of space to play in the yard and they like the themes and special activities.
The classes, the community, the instructors.
Timely bus pick up and arrival. Consistent communication. Fun and engaging activities.
No pressure
We loved the camp. My kid came home every day smiling and happy. I have no idea we what they did all day but they had fun. We will definitely come again next year.
Convenience I live here in town
the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff,
the classes the instructors and
the equipment and workout rooms.
I love it and I’m very happy as a member.
We have had a great experience with the Dolphins. As the swimmers progress into higher competitive groups, I think there is a need for more stroke breakdown and form feedback. I think it would be beneficial to have one-two practice(s) per month in the teen room, where you watch videos on a specific stroke and talk about correct body form, starts (including underwater time), turns, finishes for that stroke. My kids attended the Princeton swim camp and learned so much in 4 days about stroke specific body placement, etc., but could definitely benefit from continued work in that area as it can make a huge difference in reducing swim times.
Best summer ever! I’m so sad I wasn’t able to get in 2 years ago. My sons are 11 and 13 this summer and he has enjoyed every moment. I was concerned he would be too old but it’s been perfect. The communication from the camp has also been great with keeping parents informed.
I like the multiple time options for the classes. However, some of the classes have too many kids for one instructor
Everything
Class size. However, I believe the instructors should be in the pool with the kids to illustrate the proper techniques.
Great group fitness classes
Friendly atmosphere, we loved it.
I like the hours and the variety of programs

New Discoveries has been a great camp for my son! The camp counselors and staff have been all wonderful. I wish that we would get pictures of videos from the different weeks to see the kids in action for memories, but other than that my son has been liking his time and experience here.
