My daughter loves it always has fun
My kids loved, and had a lot of fun.
Staff were extremely helpful especially with our unique needs. We felt our chidren were safe and well cared for while at camp.

First camp experience where my son really enjoyed himself! The counselors are engaged and friendly. My son enjoyed all the different topics the camp had to offer and the multiple swimming lessons a week really gave him the last push to get him swimming! Looking forward to attending again.
My daughter had a ton of fun. Lots of variety. Camp site was beautiful. Directors were kind and communicative.
We liked the range of activities, including art, scavenger hunts, swimming and games. The counselors were great and my daughter asked to return next year!
My son had a wonderful experience at camp at the lake. We were only disappointed we couldn’t get him in for the whole summer! He has ADHD so we were nervous about him behaving and listening but whatever the counselors did there worked brilliantly and I only heard good things about his behavior while he was there. We even went to family day and got to check out the lake and property for ourselves. The staff were so warm and helpful and we had the best time! I highly recommend.
My daughter had a fantastic time at Camp at the Lake. She shared her experiences with us at home, her swimming techniques improved, and has more of an interest in the outdoors and challenging herself.
The communication with the counselors and nurse made it very easy for me to discuss things with my child This was especially important because this was his first time ever at a camp. As h previously had a trach for 6 years, he is experiencing a great deal of new things on many social levels. The camp was a great introduction to so many things that could have late manifested as fears. Instead, he is over the moon about the 8 weeks he got to spend in camp and is already talking about going again next year.
The field trips work out really well as a way to break up the week and introduce my kid to new experiences. For example, they tried rock climbing and roller skating for the first time. It says a LOT about the counselors that they felt confident enough to try these things.
I love that the kids spend ALL DAY outside and in the water. They learned so many new skills like canoeing and paddle boarding. I did not know that swimming lessons were part of CATL, and although both my kids swim well, improving the technique on their strokes is an added bonus!

The activities were varied and a lot of fun. The counselors really engaged with the kids. I really loved that swimming was included in the program.
My son had a blast this Summer. Every morning, he woke up excited to see what CATL had in store for him. I am so grateful to CATL for giving my son, Gray, the best summer. Looking forward to next year.

I just love that it’s about the community and that all the people who are nurturing our children are really kind and caring.
My daughter made so many connections in camp and really liked her counselors (Ms Kim, Mr. Danny, Ms. Violet, Ms. Emma, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Heather and Mad Scientist Ms Yasmin. She loved going to swim 3x a week and especially the water play, science projects and bounce house days

Everything! But the part our son enjoyed the most were the camp counselors.
My daughter had a wonderful experience with the Explorers Camp. The variety of trips was great, and she has discovered new interests because of this! We will definitely do this again next year.
We were so thrilled with our first experience at CATL this summer. Our 6 year old was exhausted and filthy at the end of every day which is pretty much the pinnacle of success.
He jumped on the bus to camp happily every day and learned so much - he became much less afraid of water and swimming, he met big kids and little kids on the bus, he sang us songs he learned and told us about the funny and big-hearted counselors who embraced Wacky Wednesdays and rainy day fashion shows.
Kids love attending and I like that they are outside all day. They always have fun and love their counsellors. I also really value the diversity of campers and counsellors.

My son thought it was a fun experience
Our daughter had the best time and loves the counselors at Camp at the lake. She always comes back with great fun stories to tell about games they played or activities they did and exhausted from the day.
She will keep coming back for years to come and talks about wanting to be a counselor some day.
Camp at the Lake builds independence, confidence and resilience in kids.
All 3 of my kids have been Camp at the Lake campers for the past 3 years, and they LOVE it! They look forward to it every year (Color Wars Week is their favorite)! I was so nervous about a full-day 100% outdoor camp (what about the lake, the weather, the rain the BUGS?!), but they are the least bit concerned about that stuff. They do SO many activities and don't even miss the devices or the TV while they are there! They come home hungry, exhausted and full of stories about their daily adventures. Camp at the Lake's family day is also top tier! It's the camp experience I wish I had as a child.

Would help to have more clarity on the swim test — it’s the biggest challenge for the kids
Everything was great. The only issue we had was swimmer's itch from the lake....which obviously there isn't anything that can be done for that. We plan on coming back next year!
