Generally a one stop shop fitness spot. I also like that I can visit other facilities as part of being a member.
Lots of workout choices at a reasonable price
Montclair YMCA is a community minded resource that is an invaluable asset to young and old. Its facilities are adequate and well kept. Their programs are current and relevant. I have been. Member for 25+ years.
I like seeing my friends and neighbors, of all ages at the Y. There are plenty of options for a workout and it feels like it's part of the community. Also, I really appreciate that there's no music blasting thru the speakers. Instead I can quietly listen to my own music w/earbuds.

The variety and frequency of classes. I prefer classes that I have to register for. Being in a class is better for me. The instructors are amazing as well!
The Montclair Y is the perfect reflection of Montclair at its best. Always looking for ways to serve patrons better. Always love the steam room after my workout!!
