I love the variety of classes, teachers and sense of community at Modo. I visited Modo nearly 6 years as back problems were limited my life and after Dr. visits, physical therapy, chiropractors, etc., I decided to give yoga a try. Modo surpassed my expectations in so many ways as instead of just stretching my muscles it turned out to be an incredible whole body strengthening and stretching. As I continued to visit Modo I began to realize Modo was so much more than a workout as it provided an opportunity to reflect, step away from the rush of life and recenter myself. The staff and fellow yogis are friendly and concerned for everyone's well being and have created a very welcoming community.
Yoga changed my life. Modo offers a wide variety of classes and each teacher brings a special perspective. With yoga and barre, my structural back issues rarely impact my life and I'm back to doing the sports I love after being limited for 15 years. Thanks Modo for giving me my life back!

I love the welcoming feeling and how you have helped me grow in my yoga practice without pressure. I have been practicing at Modo for about 1.5 years now and feel stronger, more flexible, and better balanced because of the work.
Everyone is so welcoming! I have never felt judged or like i was out of place at practice, even when I was first beginning my journey into yoga. I also love all of the teachers! They take the time to get to know you and at least one person welcomes you by name when you walk in the door.
The community, the instructors, the classes! All of these are wonderful. Each interaction I have at the studio is a real gift. The classes are helping me build strength in many areas of my life. Keep doing what you're doing.

Great staff and instruction. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The vibe is very calm. The classes are really well structured and challenging but also inclusive and welcoming to beginners.

I'd have to say that my absolute favorite aspect about walking through those doors into the foyer of Donald location is that warm, happy encouraging sensation that warms you in that special place of your heart which lets you know that you're home. That you can trust that the instructors are here for you have you any questions or are in need of guidance of support. It might be a bit much of a description but that's one of the major sensations that I am aware of when I walk in.

expert instruction, great assists
I love that your studio offers both barre and yoga classes and I feel like I am getting a better value with my monthly membership. However, I find that if my barre class is full and I can only get a spot against the window wall, I'm not as focused on the class because i'm worried i'm going to elbow someone in the head/side (i'm tall with long arms). Especially with situps/bent arm exercises, I can't do the exercises properly. I try and get to class as early as I can but it stresses me out if I don't get a spot by the door that has more room. Please re-consider the floor plan against the window wall. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I’ve recommended moksha to several coworkers, and taken a couple of friends to classes. I really enjoy the studios, and a few people have asked me about them just because they know that I go.
I like that the Donald location is affiliated with the Waverley location so I have lots of options to get into a class. It would be nice if I could also use my membership at the Kildonan location.
