Being in the suburbs.
Same as usual. Pretty much everything offered is tailored to the 9-to-5 real estate professional, which doesn't help me. I also got cheaper and more convenient CE options from many other sources when my renewal time came. The only useful thing I get for my money and membership is access to Sentrilock, which many agents in several of the near west suburbs don't even use, favoring old combo boxes instead. Even that benefit became an issue when my card reader quit working and I was about to have to use vacation time from work the next day to go pay and trade for a working one. Luckily I was able to take it apart and did a temporary fix myself. We'll see if it holds long enough to get some later office hours or easier, cheaper exchange options offered in the future.

Easy to contact. Answers your questions or directs you to the proper department to get your answer.
The cost is not justified.
The fees for being a realtor are ridiculous and no one can explain the fees as to why they are so high. It cost nearly $1000 per year to be a realtor. Fortunately, real estate is not my full time job. But for those just starting out, the fees can be overwhelming.
Personal touch. When I reach out, I feel like an individual not a number.

You train people to do the activities they need to do in a variety of li pans times.
Mainstreet carries too much overhead and, therefore is too expensive and self serving. You should consider sizing for the core mission and dropping some of the ancillary things you've added as a mandatory expense to grow you organization but may not necessarily provide value for the agent. Also, this page (change your score or take your time to explain) will skew your results and invalidates whatever it is you intend to do with the results.
Offer more free CE classes to meet requirements
Have podcasts or recordings of classes we can watch after class is over either for review of material or to learn if schedule did not allow us to attend online class at the time it was offered.

Great people to work with and learn
There’s not much not to like about our Association! The employees are friendly, helpful & importantly very knowledgeable! The programs offered keep us Realtors informed about the latest laws & newest technical items, to help us to be better Realtors. All of this, along with our individual efforts & hard work allow our clients to be among the smartest buyers & sellers in the country. And that’s what it’s all about...helping us to better assist our cloents!

providing late notice of big bills .... $195 is big to me. Anytime I went into the office i was greeted with less than enthusiasm. And felt less than cared for. The last 4 years.
Friendlier on the telephone
I love that there are so many resources and ways to grow and learn daily. I have had great interactions whenever I have had to call in to ask questions.

There are a lot of classes and events that cost little or nothing. The staff is awesome!!
Every time I called in the past everyone was very kind helpful and professional.
I really miss you guys. Yes I'm still active in Illinois but I now live in Florida and the MLS that I belong to down here is awful. The dues are $1600 a year and you get nothing for it. There is only one lady on the MLS help desk and half the time she has to go look up the answers because she has no clue. Every department is so segregated that you have to call different places for answers. The MLS is not user friendly and is so backwards. A lot of the Realtors down here complain but we are stuck. They also love to send violations. They seem to have a lot of time to do that. Like I said.... I miss you!
